I waited 6 years to write this review as I wanted to fully experience everything that the trilogy, and Origins, offered. I'm sure I'll come back and spend a few more hours on each of these games.

After nearly four playthroughs and getting %100 on each, I can safely say that this is the ultimate Batman experience. Story-wise, nothing will ever top Arkham City but this game is about something else.

It's a love letter to everything Bruce Wayne has done for the people of Gotham. It's supposed to end the story of Batman in Gotham City.

Gameplay mechanics are perfect. I don't think I'll see another game like this for a long time. The combat system is top-notch. The voice acting is excellent. The narrative flows as you expect and the story concludes where you want it to.

The only downsides of this game are some of the story expansion packs, the excessive use of Batmobile, the disappointing boss fight between Batman and a returning character, and a few side-missions. I won't go into details, but only Batgirl's story expansion is worth your time. Other DLCs are either cosmetics or merely a couple of encounters tieing a few loose ends.

Final word: Superheroes are not invincible as we knew anymore. They're us with extraordinary powers, whether it be physical or mental. The Batman in this game made me realize that even the world's greatest detective is prone to failure and mistakes.
