This is actually the worst Civ game they have ever put out

The Bad
Ship Combat: Terrible
Normal Combat: All your damage is soaked up like a sponge, like melee combat? forget about it
Exploring: I've had more fun watching paint dry
Quests: Remember how Skyrim quests made you feel? well get ready for blizzard quality of quests
Companions: Useless, good bullet blockers though
Skill tree: Not rewarding during early game at all
Loading Screens: It's all I see, more hours in loading screens than game
UI: Mods required here

The Good
Ship Customization: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome
Main Story: Cool

This game might be recommendable in 2-3 years, but as for now it's not really worth it. I am not done playing it and even though most of the game mechanics just frustrate me, it is not the worst game, just the worst Bethesda game (by far). With each elder scrolls game and each fallout game, I was sold on it within an hour of playing it, I am 36 hours into this game and I wish I could fast forward to the part where the game feels interesting and fun.
