Built to be fun instead of telling a story, echo point nails its controls and is a joy to play from beginning to end.

Come for the story, not for a challenge, and you'll enjoy it. If you play a lot of metroidvania you can probably finish it in around 8 hours at most, excluding content after the final boss.

Lives up to the hype and then some, good story, good gameplay.

A favorite of mine. The early game is a bit of a slog but after you escape luca it picks up, 95% of the game is after that anyways. If you want a glorious story (aside from certain oof worthy moments) and one of the best turn based combat systems I've ever seen in a game (speed can give multiple turns in a row), I'd say give it a go.
