Best indie ever 2.0

After the disappointing feel that Dark Souls 2 left me. I had my doubts about any upcoming souls game. Well I was mistaken this game has done everything good. They took a lot of good things from all the previous souls games and put them flawlessly into this game.

Boss changing patterns is awesome

Interesting NPC's quests
Weapon skills

A lot of references and reoccurances from previous games.



Some boss fights were too easy.
Sometimes the fps drops while saving and near some bonfires.
It crashes rarely.

10/10 buy it

What are you waiting for? There's no excuse to not buy this game.
The game surpassed my expectation by far and I enjoyed every single quest, contract etc. After 80 hours I decided to finish the main story and still there's a lot to do in the game.

PROS

Excellent story.
Great music.
Dynamic combat.
Tons of content.
Dynamic weather.
Yennefer.
Crafting and alchemy.
High variation of enemies.
Gwent
Funny dialogues.



CONS

Horse control.
Ignite near chests.
Damage taken from falls it's insane.

To be honest I didn't expect much from this title. I thought it will be like 5 or 6, but for my surprise it is very good. So you might give it a chance.

PROS:
+ Great atmosphere.
+ Good Story so far.
+ Episodic realase*.
+ It's actually an horror game no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ action like past games.
+ Japanese voiceovers
+ Raid mode it's great, long and complex.

CONS:

- Frame drops in RAID mode. Just once in one mission not a big deal though.
- IA is kinda dumb. The AI-controlled character will frequently stand there and do nothing.
- No online coop.
- Framerate stutter at the beginning of episode one for like 5 minutes no more.

* I thought that episodic release will be tedious and annoying. But I find myself enjoying this experience so far.

Buy this game if you have a decent rig to play it. For me it's a 9/10.
