Simultaneously nostalgic but refreshingly new, PRAGMATA feels like a banger of a game from the Xbox 360/PS3 era but looks incredibly stunning and runs well to boot (Denuvo aside..)
I thought the gameplay with its simultaneous real-time hacking minigames while dodging and shooting would be overwhelming, and at times it almost is but the game gives you a ton of tools to give yourself breathing room and is genuinely a ton of fun. The characters Hugh and Diana are incredibly endearing and likeable, and the world building is actually kind of interesting if you pay attention and read the scattered notes and holotapes scattered across levels.
I highly recommend this game if you were ever feeling the itch of wanting to play game like Revengeance or Vanquish, I think you'll find a lot to love here.

Crimson Desert is a phenomenal game that's definitely NOT for everyone, but for those that who have the patience to plumb the depths of its vast myriad of mechanics you'll find a gem of a game that'll keep you occupied for hundreds of hours.
Criticisms of its controls are valid, but I have to admit that much of it is down to being a bit different from what folks might be used to. After awhile the controls do start to click and and I think it's quite alright. Still not the best but that could be chalked up to skill issue.
The developers Pearl Abyss also keep churning out updates addressing bugs but more impressively adding new QoL features to the game and even turning some 'glitches' or bugs into actual mechanics, with unique animations (like the aerial stab, or the 'sonic boom' glider mechanic) which I find very refreshing in a world where fun bugs are often just removed and deemed fixed.

To be honest I wasn't really looking forward to playing Nioh 3 after beating both Nioh 1 and 2 because I knew the learning curve for the combat would be a pain in the butt to get back to, but after doing so all I can say is this game is crazy good. It has some technical issues forcing me to play at 60fps instead of going higher but that aside Nioh 3's combat is incredible and well worth trying the demo for. If you ever bounced off Nioh 1 for being too obtuse or mechanically strict, give this one a shot. It feels a lot more forgiving.

One of the most fun survival-crafting games i've played. I've only played solo so far, but I'm desperately trying to get my friends to play it.

Early Access Review
Been coming back to this game whenever a new league or character gets released and i've had a blast no-lifing it every time. Game feels quite good to play though there are some nitpicky stuff here and there (Crossbows don't really feel great to play when bows exist. Also i'm still waiting for them to add swords and axes to the game.)
Honestly this game's an easy recommendation if you're into ARPGs but don't wanna play Diablo for whatever reason.

Cronos is a fantastic new addition to the genre of sci-fi survival horror that Dead Space paved the way for. It kind of feels like it draws inspiration from Bladerunner, Dead Space, Silent Hill, and even a bit of their past works like Observer, combined into a very competent package. The combat is surprisingly fun, having to keep track of the monstrous entities around you while also more importantly keeping track of the dead bodies that litter the ground because you do not want the monsters to merge and start becoming massive resource-drains.
The loot scarcity feels extremely well tuned, you'll always feel like you barely have enough ammo for one excursion, making exploring every nook and cranny for upgrades and ammo feel worth it.
As for the story, I've heard its kind of divisive but so far I'm really, really digging it. I love the lore and world-building Bloober Team is creating with this entry and I genuinely hope this game succeeds and we get to dig deeper into this setting they've made.

At the time of its release I understand there are plenty of amazing games coming out, but once things quiet down I hope more people will give this game a shot if it flew under their radar, ESPECIALLY if you're a fan of Dead Space and Resident Evil.

Anthem is back baby!
DxM has a very addictive gameplay loop of picking missions, going out into the open world and then just ignoring the missions to fight giant bosses, other power armor users to steal their loot to upgrade your own power armor, kill mutant creatures to steal their genes to make yourself into a monster.
While the game is largely fun, there are a lot of really baffling design decisions and quality of life features missing for it to be truly great.
The camera sucks, as does the auto-targeting and lock-on when you're fighting the many giant bosses who like to turn and move at incredible speeds, making it incredibly disorientating if you're using melee weapons and trying to target the weak points. Controlling your power armor never really feels like you're in control 100% of the time, you will have moments where you'll just dash off to the side without meaning to, or if you're trying to make an aerial maneuver your suit will just bolt off to the side, veering off course. All of these little annoyances can add up.

The story is also complete nonsense, though some of the side stories seemed decent. A lot of the drama feels quite predictable, though it is kind of funny how confident the protagonist (your character is) at everything, which makes sense because you can really become a total powerhouse mutant freak.

I think this game is great, but maybe you should hold off and get it on a sale. Its really easy to lose track of time just flying around in the open world, fighting things and being a loot goblin.

Fun class and great looking skins. I personally think the price is perfectly fine for a whole new character class with its own specialized gameplay.

Darktide is honestly a blast to play now. It's a game with a really high skill ceiling that I often cannot reach but it's genuinely one of the most fun shooters with equally excellent melee combat. The music is incredible, the weapons look incredible, as well as the animations in handling them (Boltguns look and feel immensely heavy thanks to the animations)
As of this review they released a new Arbites (or Arbitrator) playable character and they're a ton of fun to play, and I think making it paid DLC for not a whole lot of money was quite fair.
