Played it during the free weekend with a group of my friends.. The gameplay loop is genuinely fun and the graphics are great, however I really don't think it's worth $40, let alone $50. This game really does scream $30, much like Abiotic Factor or Valheim. Along with that the game doesn't even feel finished. There's a lot of jank and what feels like holes in the gameplay's loop that doesn't feel the best to deal with.

I really wish I could recommend it, but I just don't think it's there, and by the time it is the popularity for the franchise will likely have came and gone.

It's sad that this is the only game that allows you to play as a tank crew with realistic* ballistics. Anyone who recommends this game falls under one of three groups:
1: Psychopaths who want others to suffer.
2: The chronically unemployed.
3: People who don't want the value of their "investments" to go down.

This game is abysmal. The only reason I have so many hours in it is because I enjoy tanks and because they have specifically made it so that the game doesn't become unbearable until about this mark, well after when a person may decide to drop a few bucks here and there.

This is a game in name alone as it attempts to pry money from people who fall into the niche category of people who want a realistic tank / plane / boat game. They have, and in all likelihood will continue to, made it as hard as possible to progress in the game as soon as you reach roughly halfway through the WW2 tanks (~5.6), when most people are looking at the cooler late war or post-war tank designs. The maps are horrible, with there being entire sections that are just cross-map sniping matches between tank destroyers, as well as the fact that you can buy bushes to put on your tank with premium currency.

Beyond that the premium tanks are so absurdly priced it makes my eyes water whenever I have the displeasure of glancing the wrong direction. A custom tank for $5 that didn't really exist? Sure, that's fine in my eyes, support the devs I would say...however charging $70 for a *single* tank is so far out of the line of reality that whoever thinks it's a good idea needs either a stern talking to or to be firmly pulled back to reality with multiple impacts to the head.

I really hope that some day everyone wakes up and uninstalls this game so I can buy Gaijin during their bankruptcy proceedings in order to turn the shambles that is this disgusting amalgamation of greed and sloth into a company that develops toilet auto flushing software, strictly to punish those poor souls that stuck with it to the end.

EDF 6 is pretty good but I prefer EDF 7. EDF 8 is even better however.

Barely functions at best. For a game that came out years after the first it feels more like a bloated DLC then anything else. Really, I'd watch a youtube video to explain the story then anything else.

The only reason I would touch this game is if it was on a 70% or more discount and if you had friends to do a franchise run with.

Early Access Review
A much more forgiving and expanded MSC.

This game is not only horrifying but amazing at the same time. I NEED more content in it.

It's peak.

If you want to suffer the consequences of rolling your car eighteen times after sliding off of the awful dirt roads then this game is for you.

Just know, you will know pain and triumph by the end of your playthrough.

For its time, it was pretty decent, especially as a friend slop game. Now it definitely feels dated.

I would only recommend playing this with your friends, because playing it solo is a slog.

The weapon mods are..existent(?) but extremely underlined. Any amount of side questing will instantly ruin your run with garbage scaling to pair with your mediocre game play.

The biggest issue I've had really is the scaling. Doing anything other then the main quest with the occasional side quest makes no difference. Level scaling, although it sounds great, makes the game feel more bland then anything else.

Despite the fact that I have three levels over the zombies of the area, they still scale upwards, which makes things feel more dangerous but less badass. If that was the goal then kudos, however it's not my metaphorical cup of tea, especially when they throw a ton of zombies at you towards the end of the game in order to scale up the challenge.

This is by far one of the most conflicting feeling reviews I have ever had to make.

I love the idea of this game being great. It has the bones of being a proper successor to Payday 2, HOWEVER it lacks the massive hoard of content and character that Payday 2 has. The overall game feel is much more refined, FPS is massively improved, the graphics look *good*, the game doesn't crash. Overall what they've done is make what looks more like a proof of concept or a tech demo then an actual game compared to Payday 2.

We all knew that due to the massive buildup of DLC and drip feed content in Payday 2 it makes this game look tiny in comparison, but it makes things much harder to justify playing Payday 3 over 2.

I'm only giving it a recommended rating because of the potential. There is a real chance that over time the game improves as more content is added, but right now I'm not sure I'd pay full price for it.

This game is...relatively short. It took me about 11 hours to beat the main story, and I really do wish they built more up.

Unlike RAGE 1, this game actually has a cohesive story, but what the game makes up for in story it lacks in any real content.

I only would recommend this game because if a few factors, those being;
-The gunplay actually being good.
-The movement feeling much more smooth.
-The enviroments actually looking more unique.

Really this game could've used some more development time, but overall it isn't objectively bad. It has some fun abilities that you can pull off, but with every upside it has an equal downside. I really do wish I could select neutral for it.

Also, do not attempt to play this game on Ultra Nightmare. It's genuinely not balanced and even with the maximum upgrades you will still be one shot by most enemies. I understand the whole "Get Good" mindset, but with the lack of any real way to negate damage or any way to cheese at long ranges like in RAGE 1, it's just unneeded pain.

This game is so comically bad that I don't think anyone who gives it a positive review has played it since 2011.

Here's a list of the features this game DOES NOT include:
FOV Slider
Borderless Windowed
Working Audio
Not Crashing
Simple Controls.

It is a blatent ripoff of a pack of post-apocolypse shooters / RPGs and they don't take any of the fun parts from them.

It has the bland and awful color pallet of Borderlands 1. The boring gunplay of Fallout 3. The non-existant story of any post-apocolypse slop shooter you can find, and the lack of ANY real customization.

This game has firmly landed its self in the wack playlist.
