little mixed feelings, but i would recommend it. combat feels really good and i really like how different characters have almost entirely different combat system, with for example executor, you just play as sekiro, and with recluse you can mix concoctions and ♥♥♥♥. my main complaint is the lack of variety in enemies and in environemt. it is said to be "randomly generated" but its really just a bunch of raelly big recognizable tiles that are placed differently, so it always kind of feels like the same map

overall game is like 6,5-7,5/10, would be great if there was more map variety and more original enemies but its still fun. feels a *little* sour for the money, but id say its still worth it.

if this game was like 10-20€ it would be 10/10, the game feels like a really amazing mod rather than a fully fledged game for 2/3 of the price of elden ring itself.

recommended if you have friends to play with, but dont expect a dark souls 6 out of it ye

In the open beta there are a lot of problems, such as framerate, getting softlocked, resources not spawning, being easily griefed by randoms, bugs that just outright kill you and despawn your ship, making your loot completely inaccessible at the bottom of the world. I also believe mouse acceleration is always on, but if you turn the "mouse acceleration" setting on, it just goes completely aids mode.

As long as these things are fixed, I look forward to the game's release, really fun movement, fun building ships, farming resources is pretty satisfying.

Combat feels a little janky, like how moving the mouse feels and stuff, but I believe most of it feels janky because of the framerate issues (i have, multiple times, had my frames in about 10-15 FPS with a 2070 super and a Ryzen 9 5900x).

Leaving the review as positive, because if you look past the issues, the game would 100% be a fun experience

not very beginner friendly, but once you get it its really fun

oh yeah and installing mods is very fun; freddy fazbear vs ludwig from bloodborne is crazy

i did not enjoy the first like 75% of this game that much but the last part starting around the dragon slayer armor stuff was really fun i give 7/10

This dlc is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing, took me about 80 hours to finish and a really satisfying kill on the last boss. Just like the base game, it just feels like it gets bigger and bigger as you keep exploring, though it's not the size that matters since it's so "compact" anyways. Like there's stuff everywhere. Not crowded but a lot of stuff to do. Only complaint I have is a spoiler, but no big deal since the DLC is fun anyways

People ♥♥♥♥♥ about it being too hard, go level up, use summons, shields, magic. You don't have to play on hard mode you idiot

The DLC is definitely hard, and harder than the base game, but it doesn't stop it from being fun. Some bosses however (Commander Gaius, the one gank fight before the final boss) are extremely annoying, with Gaius just being completely bugged. His hitboxes are bugged and it's very difficult to dodge one of his attacks.

The complaint is how the ending is very underwhelming. After you kill Miquella there is really nothing to do, you just get to see a little cinematic that already was in the trailer for the DLC.

Overall though, Shadow of The Erdtree has everything that made Elden Ring great, but a little harder to make it feel more rewarding with more bosses.
