one of the best single player games i have ever played. if you play on standard difficulty on your first playthrough itll have a hard learning curve at first, expect to die a lot(and the objective of the game can be confusing, hint: find the purple diamonds on your map and open the cases in the ground once you find them) but once you figure it out, its an amazing game.

Probably one of the best purchases ive made this year. I completed shovel of hope, then specter of torment, then plague of shadows within a week and a half. I was totally hooked. The game looks deceptively easy, and is actually semi-difficult but feels really rewarding once you master the mechanics I dont even play platformers that often but this game was amazing. The controls are extremely satisfying, especially so in specter of torment, and the level of replayability is high.

not only is the raw gameplay great, the story for each storyline is amazing, i actually found myself invested in these characters for once, and it feels like Yacht Club Games managed to balance story and gameplay just right.

i just hope that Yacht Club Games decides to add in a "Boss Run" mode so its possible to fight the bosses individually without having to redo the whole level.

and on top of all this? there's another free DLC coming out!

i liked this game. it only takes about an hour or two to finish it but you can replay it quite a bit, great story and the characters have some great personality

started playing this game way back when it was first made, and i continue to love this game even after taking a break for a month or two. i've played 200+ hours of this game on steam(and probably many more on the PTR), and have around 300 matches played in game.





10/10, one of my favorites

spent 10 minutes in the broom closet while the narrator expressed their disappointment in me.
