Play very rhythmic, cartoon graphics, beautiful voiceovers. Frantic and pressing original story perhaps too original. Once started is the desire to never break away to know the continuation of the story and what will happen. Excellent mix of QTE and dialogues. only many flaws in the secondary plots.

Been long time since a game allowed me to lose track of time and sit for over 4 hours (a number of times). At first the narrative cinema was distracting but, soon getting to the next one became an obsession. The story was great if you were a teen in the 80's wondering what would happen if some idiot would think a nuclear attack is "an easy win." The game play is challenging, the graphics were wonderful, and fit the story well. The ending was pleasant yet sad - let's say appropriate and it included some nice dramatic pauses. Well worth the time.
1 warning -- I probably will not buy off Epic games till I see players mention stable more. The cloud syncs and frozen screens during saves were very aggravating, too much so. But, for the comments containing Dev "filler" and bad story I say "not helpful."
4A Games spent a perfect amount of time and thought on this game. A 7-8 for the play and the story made it an easy 9 (a 10 if I was a more romantic type). Great game.

This is a spectacular, terrifyingly terrific, fun, suspenseful, horrifying, exciting game. In Resident Evil 7's 10 hours campaign, you will explore many different spooky locations that have monsters and powerful monster-like people lurking around the corners. The environment is unsettling and the sound adds a bunch more creepiness to the game. Combining these things with a great little story gives you an amazing game with an amazing scary atmosphere. It keeps suspense by giving pretty crappy guns and having you search every corner, door, and shelf for any ammunition or medical kits. Sometimes the game is calm but it never feels like it because you have no clue if there is a horrifying creature ariound the corner and when you do stumble across that creature it becomes a very tense situation. Even though it doesn't sound like a very good or fun time it truly is and is an amazing game that I 100% recommend you try.

Visually beautiful, creates a sense of actually being in the Nostromo due to all the fine detail. I would recommend this game to any alien fan. Player beware can be very hard!

Fun, fast paced action. Action. ACTION! Kick back and kick some ass. Ridiculous game and I enjoyed that. Recommend.

The game is a masterpiece, the begginning is a little slower, but as you keep playing the game, he just become better and better. The history complete the story from the first game and end the journey of Sebastian Castellanos.

Give a chance to the game guys, i want a sequel.

A great old-school RPG experience. Wasteland 2 starts hard if you don't know how to min max characters and what the skills are for. But RPGs that make things too easy are boring, so learning the hard way is more fun. The graphics aren't too bad but they do appear dated.
The theme of the game of being a pre-90s apocalypse is very well-executed in the game. The computers, writing and themes match very well. I remember the synth I fought saying that I will not stand a chance against his superior computing power with his 8080 processor running at 3 MHz or something like that. Lines like these are very endearing and fun to read. As for the weapons, they were unrealistic in ammo used but worked as the customizations were helpful. It also is fun in a sense that the game allows you to fail some main quests and deal with the awful consequences.
The choice between the Ag Center and Highpool was quite tough and if you fail to save both, the world hates you some more but you can continue to make the world worse. You can also betray characters and even your fellow Rangers, which is a rare thing in today's games.
All of these things and more pleasant surprises, mean that even though Wasteland 2 has some shortcomings, it is very fun, especially if you are looking for a game that challenges you the oldschool way.

Wonderful PC version, looks great, runs well, gunplay is fantastic and it has TONS of content. Thanks for bringing the game to steam to!

Horde mode is the best it has been and is worth the money alone and the campaign is fantastic, best since Gears of War 2.

People should stop to compare this game with the original LiS always and always again. Although lt's tied close with LiS in a scenario and with the characters and the mainstory so it's still an other thing... its own thing. I see Before the Storm as an absolutely fantastic and magical storybased adventuregame that tells us "its own! story in its own way of theatre, of drama and poetry".
Somehow it feels like homecoming.

Especially with given limitations of a prequel did Deck Nine a very good job with this.
