Released in March 2013 by City Interactive, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is a first-person sniper shooter powered by CryEngine 3, placing you in the boots of elite operative Cole D. as he navigates betrayal and revenge across exotic locales like the jungles of the Philippines, the war-torn streets of Sarajevo, and the peaks of Nepal.
At launch, it earned "mixed or average" reviews, with Metacritic scores hovering in the low 50s for consoles and user scores around 5.8-5.9 across platforms. Critics like IGN slammed it as repetitive and uninspired (5/10), citing poor level design and mundane shooting outside of sniping moments. However, outlets like GameSpot praised its improvements over the original—smarter AI, realistic ballistics, and tense stealth—as a solid action-movie shooter. Fast-forward to 2025, and Steam users remain mostly positive (71% recent), with many calling it a satisfying sniper sim on ultra-cheap sales (often under $2)

Gameplay: 7/10
Multiplayer shines in epic 64-player Conquest: reactive gunplay rivals COD, vehicles dominate (tanks bully, jets rule skies), and select maps deliver pure spectacle. Portal teases community magic. But uneven map pool (cramped ones drag), brutal progression grind (tedious challenges lock gear), bland attachments, server queues, and BR siphoning action kill momentum. No true innovation—feels like safe BF3/4 redux, missing BF1's tense Operations and infantry persistence.
Story & Content: 5.5/10
Campaign is a forgettable linear slog—dull missions, weak characters, ignores series vehicle strengths. Launch content thin; post-launch promises BR, maps, but players feel abandoned to grind/live-service traps.
Verdict: 7.5/10
Battlefield 6 recaptures multiplayer highs for vets weary of BR fatigue, outselling BF1 at launch amid COD woes. But it's no Battlefield 1—lacks that game's atmospheric immersion, superior destruction, replayable modes, and lasting appeal. Grindy, uneven, and fading fast; wait for sales or deep discounts.

Personally, I’ve found that this is not my cup of tea when I thought of a gaming experience, however I think that I can sway people’s opinions based off of my experience with the game.

The game is great. It’s well made and has a lot of details to it with beautiful, somewhat accurate scenery that attempts to replicate the experience of driving. It’s an extremely studied world that attempts to recreate cities to the best of its ability, and has very nice, sleek graphics considering the technology in 2012.

One problem I have noticed is that the cities aren’t very well flushed-out unless they are mainstream cities such as Paris. This usually is because a city comprises of an industrial zone with a drop off area which solely exists to make deliveries. If you’re someone who wants to explore cities, I don’t recommend that you play this game. However, if you’re one of the many people who want to experience the open roads of Europe, then this game is definitely for you. I recognised smaller landmarks surrounding the area I live in which I wouldn’t have expected to see.

Furthermore, it should be acknowledged that the map is scaled down. You can complete a 350 mile drive in approximately twenty minutes if you’re a beginner. This means that it can be played in any amount of time and still enjoyed by people who want to experience the European roads without the strain of playing the game for hours upon hours.

Finally, I have noticed one slight thing I don’t like, and that’s the fact that some of the roads are just blocked off with little X symbols. Whilst I understand that this is a limitation of the game being released in 2012, it’s clear that similar styles were taken in blocking an area off from phone games. It would be somewhat interesting to have a few more less important roads available, that aren’t just motorways or industrial roads.

Now for my rating chart:

Graphics:
[ ] Blow you off your feet
[ ] Very good
[X] Good
[ ] Somewhat good
[ ] Bad
[ ] Difficult to look at

Gameplay:
[ ] Never been more exhilarated in my life
[ ] A thrilling experience
[X] Very fun

[ ] Boring
[ ] Do anything else

Difficulty
[ ] You’d have an easier time building a house
[ ] Very hard
[ ] Hard
[ ] Somewhat difficult
[X] Easy
[ ] Cakewalk
[ ] Dad, can I play?

Time-consumption;
[ ] This game is your life
[ ] You’ll spend your most of the day on this game
[ ] You’ll spend a lot of time on the game
[ ] You’d just be on it a few hours before you’ve earned a lot
[X] Barely any time really needed on it to be successful
[ ] It’s a good thing to do every now and then when you have free time

Hopefully my review was helpful to whomever may read this.
Have a good day, and thank you for reading.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a triumph that redefines open-world gaming. Rockstar delivers a breathtaking Wild West epic that’s as vast as it is intimate. The story of Arthur Morgan is a gut-punch of emotion, with characters so real you’ll mourn their losses and cheer their victories. Every mission feels alive, blending cinematic storytelling with seamless gameplay.

The world is a living masterpiece—sunsets over prairies, bustling towns, and random encounters (like helping a stranger or dodging a cougar) make every ride unforgettable. The attention to detail is insane: horses get muddy, NPCs have routines, and your choices shape Arthur’s journey. Combat is weighty, from tense shootouts to brutal fistfights, and hunting or crafting adds depth without feeling forced.

Visually, it’s stunning, with landscapes that demand you stop and stare. The soundtrack, from haunting ballads to pulse-pounding scores, is perfect. Online mode offers fun with friends, though the story is the true star. With 60+ hours of content (and endless side activities), replayability is off the charts—different choices reveal new layers.

Minor gripes? The pacing can feel slow early on, and controls take getting used to, but these fade against the sheer ambition. RDR2 isn’t just a game; it’s an experience that lingers long after the credits. If you love immersive worlds, deep stories, or just want to live as an outlaw, this is unmissable. Saddle up—you won’t regret it.

Vampire Survivors - “the Vampire is in another coffin”

Gameplay Mechanics

Vampire Survivors offers a refreshing take on the rogue-lite genre by simplifying controls to a single stick shooter format. Players navigate through hordes of enemies while their character automatically attacks, allowing them to focus solely on positioning pathing , item pickup timing and strategy. The thrill lies in the escalating chaos as you fend off waves of increasingly tough foes, all while managing your character’s growth through leveling up and weapon evolution. Weapon evolutions are granted by leveling up and eliminating high ranked foes i won't spoil anything but there is more to this.

Visuals and Presentation

At first glance, Vampire Survivors may seem unremarkable with its retro pixel art style reminiscent of early ‘90s games. However, this simplicity works in its favor, as it ensures clarity amidst the frenetic action. The visual effects during combat can become overwhelming but contribute to an exhilarating experience that keeps players engaged, to the point that u just don't have a clue what is going on, very satisfying hilarious and great that this is actually possible.

Depth and Replayability

While at one point during first year some critiques point to a lack of depth in item interactions and build diversity, the game compensates with its addictive gameplay loop. This is true at that time to some extend, but we are 2 years later now and the amount of love the game gets from its devlopers is just outstanding, there is a lot of DLC that is added and also wicked collaborations with other games like Contra, Among Us, Castlevania and on and on.

Final Thoughts

Vampire Survivors is a testament to how engaging gameplay can transcend graphical fidelity. Its blend of simplicity and strategic depth creates an addictive experience that invites players back for more, trying builds and just enjoy the domination of a "egged character" farming gold in endgame. (no spoilers) Enjoy thematic runs of Collabration DLC. There is a lot todo and to try in this game.

Thank u for reading, highly recommended game 10/10

Released on September 25, 2020, by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games, Mafia: Definitive Edition is a ground-up remake of the 2002 cult classic, rebuilt on the Fusion engine (shared with Mafia III) with Havok physics. You play as Tommy Angelo, a reluctant cab driver thrust into the brutal underworld of 1930s Prohibition-era Lost Heaven, Illinois, rising through the ranks of the Salieri crime family amid betrayal, bootlegging, and mob wars.
It launched to generally favorable reviews, earning a Metacritic score of 78 (PC/PS4/Xbox One), with critics hailing it as a "captivating, reverent re-imagining" that modernizes the original's cinematic storytelling while preserving its soul—often likened to a Scorsese film. User scores sit at 7.6, with some gripes over dated mechanics. On Steam, it's Very Positive (over 26,000 reviews), and as of late 2025, recent player sentiment remains strong (90%+ positive in the last year), praising its timeless narrative and budget-bin value (often $5 on sale)
