Takes the original concept of the older harvest moon games and both develops on it and polishes it's rougher areas, and to me feels like the best execution of the idea to date. It does not let it's inspiration hold it back though, forging it's own unique identity with new game concepts and a beautiful, almost fantasy, world and charming characters. I always end up coming back to this happy place.
