In the first 20 minutes the game had me permanently hooked. 9 hours later I've gotten all the achievements, am aiming for top 100 on the leader board, and have ditched all my other projects to start writing the script of a video preaching of the almighty mantis warrior to stamp down the backyard population. The movement and combat is so fluid and melded together in the best way possible to create an almost addictive experience to play even without any real progression besides the leader board. Easily on par with the likes of Deep Rock Galactic, Risk of Rain 2, and Ultrakill. 10/10 would buy again.

i like it. there are definitely better ones but i like it. aim lab not letting me actually log in probably has something to do with it though tbh

I would absolutely recommend this game. I only have 72 hours in the game on steam, but that's because i mostly play on my microsoft store copy (one of my friends plays on xbox). the game is amazing. if you really want to see if it's for you, there's usually a free weekend at the game's anniversary each year, but also look at some of the game's community made content. "sniss" is a youtuber who has made some video essays about the game which I would recommend you give a watch. the game is amazing and I'm gonna shut myself up before i ramble on and on in a steam review and never get to doing anything productive today. like playing deep rock galactic.
