So I was playing Kerbal Space Program yesterday, and I had a Kerbal in a stable but very eccentric orbit and no way to get the craft back. So I thought, might as well give him a fiery end.
I waited till he got into near Kerbin orbit and went EVA.
Then I headed planet bound.

I honestly thought Jerimiah would either burn up or spread himself across a few km of landscape.

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bounced. And lived. WAT?
He. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Bounced. Off. The. Ground.
From orbit. Terminal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ velocity.

HE BOUNCED.
