One of my favorite RTS games. Northgard is also one of the best games to play on the Steam Deck even if the devs do not officially support it. Most of my playtime is from the conquest game mode which sets you on a campaign against AI either solo or with a friend, with different bonuses and modifiers each time. I'd say conquest is the best content the game has to offer.

Too bad during the last few months the devs have broken the AI completely. Even against extreme AI there is no challenge at all, so now you can either play a building sandbox against nonexistent AI that loses to neutrals before you attack them or play online pvp.

So unless you are looking for ranked PVP I would stay away for now.
