I've been installing and playing the game since my high school years and having the game finished recently in my mid 30's i can say that this game never ceases to amaze me with how the story and immersive gameplay holds even today. It is full of hidden details, one time i found myself in a library reading about the history of knights templar. Soundtrack and dialogs as well as JC's one liners are amazing. I can't expect younger generations get the same feeling about this game because graphics are not aged well but if you are rather into atmosphere and great story telling, give this game a shot.

It had shaped my view of the world, it is my bible.

A ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and badly optimized game that is constantly crashing and is full of cheaters ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spinbotting every round. This pile of garbage is beyond redemption. Go play 1.6 or something.

A must play conflict-induced schizo ptsd experience 9/10

pros:

- a very good story with a lot of complex characters and factions which make you really think about the decisions that you're gonna make for there are no black and whites but only grays

This game is a pure work of art and is an example how an immersive action rpg should be.

In addition to my play time on steam, i have spent countless hours in this game; with and without official patches, played with every clan and witnessed every ending. Yet the game never cease to amaze me with it's brilliant music, incredible voice acting, gloomy & gothic atmosphere, well written dialogues and it's rather unique and interesting side quests in contrast with modern rpg games' boring and repetitive quest systems.

As a die hard fan, the only downside of the game for me is not bugs and crashes for most of them have been fixed by continously released unofficial patches but the fact that the game turns into a shooting gallery towards the ending and the most probable reason for that is developers have been rushed by greedy publishers as usual ((you know who)).

Regardless, if you are into WoD or just into vampire lore and gothic fictions, give this game a try. Eventually installing and playing the game will be a ritual and you will feel fulfilled in each playthrough, then empty once again.
