What a breath of fresh air. I love the traditional FF games and I'm not a big action RPG person eg: God of War but the story and combat work together so well to pull me in even if it's not usually my cup of tea. In a year of meh game releases this one is a gem that is engaging, runs well, and keeps me guessing on what will happen next.

DS3 had better bosses. Cool game that is easier then the others but the open world was fun to explore and complete.

It could've been a turd on a stick and it still would be better then Dark Souls 2.
