This might genuinely be the best soulsborne I've ever played. The combat takes a while to click as it's very different from Dark Souls 1-3 and Elden Ring. But it's super satisfying once you get the hang of it. Also, Sword Saint Isshin is the best boss in the entire soulsborne series hands down.

I don't like playing 2D games.

I don't even know what "platformers" and "metroidvanias" really are. But this game had me struggling to put down the controller.

Amazing visuals that I find myself just pausing for a moment to admire. Fluid movement that makes zooming around the map fun. Satisfying combat with a wide variety of enemies. Coming from someone who mostly plays FPS, souldborne, and RPGs, Hollow Knight is a 10/10.

Bought HOLLOW KNIGHT: SILKSONG before even finishing this as I know I'm definitely gonna hop on it once I'm done.

Bots. Bots everywhere. I love this game to death and still want to play it, but it's unplayable right now.

Bought GOTY Edition from Humble Bundle for just around $20. Played the game and realized how I should've just bought it full price. I feel kinda guilty for getting this game so cheap cuz for what the devs have done, they deserve much more. If you see this game on sale, do yourself a favour and switch off your brain and just buy it.

DON'T mistake this for a DLC, it's an actual, stand-alone game !
