I'll preface this by saying that I love the vison of the ICO. However, this update was simply not ready to push to the live build. Performance has taken a massive dive and is worsened by the fact that FSR is unusable with the new PiP optics. Before the update I could maintain a stable 100FPS; post-update I dip as low as 20FPS while ADS. After playing over 30 hours across all playtests, the novelty of the gunplay changes has worn off and is turning to frustration. Too much control has been taken away from the player and I think a middle ground needs to be found between the old and new weapon handling. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this game in its current state.

Always a laugh to play with friends and the skill ceiling is practically infinite.

One of the most innovative first person shooters to be released in the past 5 years. This game has a steep learning curve, but also has a very supportive community that is welcoming of newer players. The developers are constantly releasing new free content for everyone to enjoy, and improving the game with major updates every couple of months. Overall a phenomenal game that has potential to last.

It's a classic. Still tons of fun 14 years later. 100% worth it.
