Bottom line: Absolutely full of personality and charm while being super fun and addicting.
This game feels like the dev worked on every frame of every song for over an hour. It feels great to play, looks good, gets you in the rhythm with its visuals. It doesn't skimp out on difficulty but also doesn't go way too hard on it.
Play this game. Doesn't matter if you've played the other games in the series. (Though you absolutely should)

This is the most chill game I've ever seen. Much less played.
Chill wherever you want in a customizable room with a customizable character with lots of cute (And LGBTQIA+ Friendly) options.
Unlock pets or spirits to hang out with you while you listen to lofi music from the game or any playlist you want from a browser.
There are also tools for staying focused and on task such as break timers, to do lists, habits and journals.
Progression is done by the minute so the longer you chill the higher level you'll get and the more you'll unlock.
Amazing game. Makes you melt into your chair with nice music, cute atmospheres (Which are also customizable btw) and pets. Helps me keep on task when developing games or coding <3

This is an adorable little chibi that walks around on your desktop and gets in the way of your games and keeps you company.

This is a lazy cashgrab and an insult to SAO fans.
Button mash to win. Don't think, just mash.
Linear. Push the control stick forward from point A to point B and that's it.
Almost exactly the same as the war of the underworld anime arc. Just watch it instead of paying $60 on this.
Nothing to unlock and leveling seems meaningless. All of the sword skills are unlocked by default with the exception of a few ultimate skills that seem to require endless grinding to achieve.
The devs LOVE Kirito. Like way way way too much. If you don't have him in your party you're probably missing about 70% of your team's damage output.
Buy able weapons are pointless. From as long as I was willing to play, all of the weapons are worse than the starting weapons and weapons cannot be upgraded.
Stemming from my last point, money is useless. No reason to buy weapons, no reason to buy consumables. The only time I ever used money is to buy the starting accessories, then I just got more from chests guarded by weak enemies.

Don't play this. Lycoris was better and Lycoris was also bad.

Its a great game if you don't know Hololive, but its an absolutely excellent game if you do. There's so many little hints, memes and easter eggs all over the place. Even in some of the bosses.

Anyway the core gameplay loop is start at level one, gain exp from weak enemies, level up while choosing extra weapons and items from each level up or from box drops from strong/boss enemies. The small grunt enemies start to become quite abundant and usually by the end of the run you can cleave through them like cheese. Its incredibly satisfying and addicting to play. Not to mention each Hololive member that you can play as has a completely different main weapon and skill kit, but none feel underpowered or weak. So choose your favorite! Theres plenty of achievements and reasons to keep playing even after unlocking all the characters and stages.

Play this game. Its incredible. There's so much more that I didn't mention and the game is still being actively worked on and updated at the time of writing this.

You can rocket jump with a grappling hook. Best game ever 12/10

Try to ignore everyone saying "ps2 game" and "whats the appeal?" Its a great game for this genre. Simple combat, in depth farming with diverse villagers and people to marry. Not quite as good as Rune Factory 4 but its very close.

In short, play if you like the farming game genre and if you've played Rune Factory 4.
Don't play if you just want to hate like 35% of the reviews or if you don't like farming mixed with combat.

A loli witch game inspired by dark souls/FROM SOFTWARE. Fun but challenging. A few months ago I would have given a negative review because the last update was in 2020. But recently they announced the release date for september which made me play again. Its fun and feels satisfying. Don't even get me started on the music. Lets just say I'm buying the soundtrack the second it comes out.

To recap, buy if you want anime loli dark souls, with an amazing soundtrack. Don't buy if you don't like the challenging type of gameplay and/or if you can't be patient with developers.

For the people glossing over reviews: Its a fun beat 'em up with jiggly waifus. Enough said. (Also Nep humor. <3)

Now I'll explain a bit more. If you've come here looking for the classic Senran Kagura gameplay then you won't find it here. The ladies are still jiggly but theres no clothing ripping and theres barely any fanservice scenes outside of CG. However whats missing there is made up in gameplay. In Senran Kagura you mash skills until you win. Here your skills are limited slightly which forces other tools, the girls are also slower moving making dodging and blocking more useful.

It is a really short game. (100% Achievements in 20 hrs.) There is postgame content in the form of high difficulty dungeons but thats pretty much it.

To sum it up, If you like the Senran Kagura games but wanted less spammy gameplay, buy this. Don't buy if you're looking for insane fanservice or a super in depth beat 'em up or rpg.

Its probably the best emulator you can get especially if you read up a bit on getting more cores for even more retro games that they were unable to include. If you want emulation, get this one.

Edit: Lowering my opinion of it a little because it tries to auto everything related to controller input. This makes it next to impossible let alone convenient to set up an odd controller. Like an N64 controller for example.
