Not just 'friendslop'

This game is truly an all time great for so many reasons that you've probably already seen or heard, but I cannot stress this enough, EVERYONE who is thinking about getting this game should get it and anyone who isn't thinking about getting it should get it too.
I have been following this game for 5 years and it feels nearly impossible to find developers more in tune with their community. Even if you may not be used to or think you enjoy games like this, it teaches you bit by bit and before you realize it you're in full factory building mode. It keeps you hooked in with constant "ah ha" moments. Every step of progress is "satisfying" whether it's producing materials, building, exploring, researching, or exploiting.
Even though performance can dip due to lots of moving parts, I've never found it takes away from the enjoyment.
This game is nothing less than a masterpiece in my eyes and I truly hope more people find joy in it.

Everything that I could say about Baldur's Gate 3 has likely already been said. There is no game in any genre or on any console that has been released this year that deserves game of the year like this does. It created both the best solo experience and multiplayer experience. It has developers that truly care about the community and the original property, and deserve all of the success they've received.

They've done a great job of polishing the game up and working on issues. Still not quite where it needs to be but a much better experience than it was upon release. Except for the rampant cheating/hacking problems. I still miss CS:GO.

This game blindsided me like a brick to the face while asleep. Going into this blind made this a beautifully fresh experience and it quickly became an all-time favorite for me. This game deserves all the love it's ever gotten and more. More people in this world need to play and experience this game.

Imagine a game beloved by millions for years only to have those millions completely disregarded in EVERY decision the company, management, dev team, and support team makes. Nexon destroys thousands of hours of work and so much more without ANY input from the community and are one of the greediest, grimiest, and unskilled game companies you'll see in this world. Nexon's terrible reputation only degrades more as the support team actively wants people to suffer more, and the company continues to ruin their property with terrible decisions and hating their own community that just wants to see the game thrive.

This game has brought new life to my soul and I now realize that I can not live my life without it. It brings you the joy of not only being able to listen to wonderful music, but you also get to watch catgirls dance in front of your face. I currently at the time of writing this review I have over 7 hours in this game. I have ascended to another realm in which I will see you being in another life.
