Valheim pirates

Really blown away by this game. Really well done, very polished. I don't know much about climbing, but it captures the vibe and themes of being outdoors in a way that only The Long Dark has done before it, and probably more so. This game needs more eyes, I think it might be a sneak game of the year candidate in quality.

You wrap individual fingers with tape in circular motion to tape before climbing.
You collect garbage on the mountain to take care of the area.
You shake your backpack enough so you can squeeze in that one extra item into the free space you've made.
I didn't want to hike with the negative rain effect, so I just waited it out in my tent for a day and made it a cooking day.

It's really quality stuff and it feels very familiar at times to a hiking trip.

Game is ridiculously overhyped and super boring.

Game is great, I don't care about AI art.

The new systems are amazing, the graphics are amazing. Age transitions make the game more engaging to finish than it has ever been. The UI needs work, there needs to be more map variability and game size options, but this is as good as Civ has ever been.

Great game lay loop.
