I'll be honest, the Early Access was significantly better in terms of depth of gameplay and interest in story; a lot was cut or completely rewritten in ways that actively made the game worse, but in the end I still recommend playing. After you've finished playing the final release, switch to the Early Access (in Properties->beta) to get a taste of what might have been.

I had a really hard time not recommending this. It's not a bad game, it's an interesting experience, get it 'cause it's cheap and an amusing way to waste an hour.
But here's the thing: the game gives no internal incentive at all, and then pretends to not understand how games work, and I found that... bad. Your introduction is a corridor with a button. Walk down the corridor, push the button, the game tells you to not open it again, and then closes. The only reason I did open it was because I knew that that was part of the game: the game pretending it didn't want to be opened was part of the game and me knowing that it knew that I knew that the only reason I was opening the game again was because it knew that I knew that that was part of the game felt... forced, detracted from what the game was trying to say. It was a bad-faith setup and relied entirely on the player to be meta about it.
But you do reopen the game against its wishes for absolutely no internal reason. And then the game proceeds to question why you keep pushing the button when the button is literally the only thing you can do.
Don't get me wrong, it's 45 minutes of corridor and button pressing goodness and a worthwhile experience in the end, I just couldn't stop thinking about the fact that the game was telling me not to do the only thing the game was giving me the option of doing, knowing full well that (with some exceptions) I'd have to do it eventually.

An RPG with a compelling story and a satisfying conclusion. The door is open for more adventures, but it doesn't feel like they're needed: the story reached an ending and life goes on.
The game features about 30 hours of single-playthrough content. All regular monsters are on the map and can be fought or avoided, and every boss monster starts with a "proceed?" prompt which you can back out of, so you can explore the beautiful environments without tedious grinding or fear of "going the right way".
The game features multiple difficulties, including a Story Mode where you can simply win every battle if you're only interested in an interactive story, and the story is very much worth playing.

It's actually really awesome, a lot of fun, attention to details are amazing, and the frequent save points means I, a full grown adult with a life that frequently interrupts game time, don't get stressed about trying to finish one-more-level before I need to get back to my responsibilities: play for 10 minutes or play for an hour. It's not a serious game, it's just pure fun. 10/10, seriously.

Dweller is a fun little puzzle game. It takes 2 hours to complete including achievements. It's not something that I'd play again, but if you've got $5 and a couple hours to kill there are worse ways to spend your money.

You know when you think fondly back on a game and how great it was, and then you go to actually play it and realize your memory was terrible? Spyro Reignited is the game that you remember.

Beautiful game, amazing flight mechanic, just enough background lore to discover to keep me guessing and wondering.
And then I reached the ending and there was no ending. There's dramatic build-up, a confrontation, and then it literally just stops. Now, a lot of people will say "oh, it's metaphorical, you need to do some interpretation" and like, sure, but there are several contradictory interpretations floating around and none of them are actually driven by the narative, it's all supposition based on the backstory.
It's 2am, I stayed up late because I was having fun, I knew I was close, I was looking forward to some closure. There's no closure. Not even an open-ended conclusion: it just... stops. I really want to recommend this game. It is beautiful, it was great fun exploring, solving puzzles, but if I'd known I'd be left unsatisfied I wouldn't have bothered.
