So far so good. Feels like an incremental game. The heart and soul of this is the visuals though. UI design is crisp. Theme is cohesive. This feels like I booted up my grandfathers computer that sat in the corner for my entire childhood.

I had a good time with the game. I can understand some peoples gripes, particularly the pacing in the first mission seems a bit off for what the future holds in the game. If you enjoyed old school splinter cell gameplay, I think this game will be a nice fit for you. It doesn't necessarily make any massive game changing evolutions on it, but it does give the same vibes overall. The gunplay feels really good, headshots are actual headshots if you know what I mean.

The story is most definitely a story. When you get in the nitty gritty of it its actually good, but the delivery makes it harder to get emotionally invested. Cutscenes are long and mainly just two people talking back and forth. I'd be lying if I said I didn't zone out quite a bit, especially at the prologue. If there was more showing and less telling it may have stuck better, or more natural conversations while playing the game? I am not a game designer so I doubt I could do better or provide better feedback. All that being said, the final missions cutscene & story telling had me hooked. That scene had everything it really needed to be good. Tension, good voice acting, animation, pacing, etc etc.

All in all, I'd recommend it for the asking price. It's a good game for $20, and I know Resurgent will eventually make it a great game for $20. I am confident they will be fixing the bugs I and other gamers have come across and I can even see them making some adjustments to how the story is introduced & implemented.

Very rarely have I played games that made me feel the way this game did. Actually, I am not sure I ever have felt anything quite like this before. This isn't normally my type of game, especially gameplay wise. Idk if I have ever put more than 1hr in a turn based game before this, but the story had me hooked.

TLDR; Not a crytpo miner, and anyone who genuinely believes it is does not know anything about game development or has not looked into the creation of this AT ALL. You can see the entire development of this game on Youtube, so you can check yourself if there is any malware on it.

I have barely played this, only really within his chat while he was developing the game. For all of you people saying it is a crypto miner, you could not look more ignorant than you do now. The ENTIRE development of this can be watched on his previous live streams on Youtube. You can see it go from being a basic camera all the way to what it is today. Claiming he made a bit coin miner (Which is impossible considering Valve WOULD have caught this) just makes you look stupid.

This is not coming from some major fan boy either. I watched his streams every once in a while for like 10 mins. Followed some tutorials to learn unreal engine.

You have to keep in mind this game is 100% blueprint based, and that can have quite the effect on FPS if not managed correctly (and considering this game took around a month to make, you can bet some loopholes were probably taken).

All the people here who know ZERO about development, do NOT claim something is a bitcoin miner when you in fact do not know ANYTHING about how this sort of thing works. Its like one negative person said that and now a wave of people are following them blindly. This is ruining someones name / game when they didn't do anything wrong and you are just lying.

As for the dev, I kind of agree on how he is reacting. Not offense man (I have supported you for a little bit now) but your responses are not very good for these people. This isn't your Youtube chat anymore, so making fun of them probably isn't the best call. But the beauty of it is that you can do whatever the heck you want, so more power to ya.

I hope this helps people who want to take a look at this game. Its weird, and 100% made by a Youtube chat (so it is kind of weird) but it is NOT a form of malware.

While I was playing this I was thinking "Man, what the heck am I playing". And I knew from the beginning that was going to be all my review said. But, after making it further and further, and beating it. I now know what I just played.

This game, if you let it, will open up your mind and has a MUCH deeper meaning to it than you would originally believe. This was an absolutely awesome experience. Mind melting, but once you beat it..... It's just amazing.

For sure a fun game so far, 30 hours in and I can say its an enjoyable expierence IF you understand it isn't your typical AC. Back in the day you would just counter your way in fights, but in this one you have to keep your gear on par with your level, otherwise you will fail horribly.

Personally, I still try to play as close to the original as I can and go full assassin build, but you have a lot of options truly.

This was an astounding experience. Me and a buddy went in not really knowing anything. All we knew was that we had a hovering board and boosters. Little did we know we would be getting into some serious boss fights, some of the best locomotion I have ever seen in a video game. And legitimately the most fun I have had with one other person in a long long time. This is a must have if you own a VR headset.

Fair warning though, you need to have your VR legs. This game will induce Nausea if you do not have your VR legs. Me and my buddy have ours, so it was a remarkable experience.
