Dispatch was and still is one of the best story-driven games I’ve ever played. The fact alone that the game comes from the creators behind legendary titles like The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us already hinted that it would be an incredible experience — and that’s exactly what I got.

I finished the game almost in one sitting because I was completely hooked from beginning to end. Dispatch perfectly combines humor, action, emotional moments, and even some more daring scenes, but the true strength of the game lies mainly in its story and characters.

The story follows MechaMan Robert, whose mech gets destroyed, forcing him to leave behind the typical superhero lifestyle and start working at Dispatch instead. On top of that, he’s put in charge of a group of former villains who are now trying to become real heroes. The interactions between the characters are easily one of the best parts of the entire game, and I often found myself enjoying the dialogue just as much as the action itself.

The choices aren’t extremely difficult, but I still tried to pick the options based on how I personally would react. In the end, I became the “hero in the right place” and chose Invisigal instead of the blonde girl. Honestly, I felt bad for her, and I thought her ending was genuinely beautiful and very well written.

Dispatch surprised me in almost every way — with its excellent pacing, entertaining characters, fantastic humor, and emotional moments. I would absolutely love to see another season or sequel because I genuinely had an amazing time with the game, and I’ll definitely replay it someday to explore different choices.

Huge recommendation from me for anyone who loves story-driven games. This masterpiece absolutely deserves the praise.
