Reviewing every game i've 100%ed No. 7:

The second most playtime with 300+ hours on my steam account. I fricking love The Crew and The Crew 2. Me and a good friend always used these games just for driving around the US and talking all night long. Its just a game with so many differnet Tasks but also being so chill that you can just talk with your buddys while playing. The Crew 2 is essentially a giant playground for anything fast – cars, motorcycles, boats, and planes. The story is secondary, serving primarily as a backdrop while you grind through events and unlock new vehicles. What truly makes the game special is the freedom and variety between disciplines. A race in a hypercar, then a plane stunt, and then straight into a boat – it never really gets boring, even if some events do become repetitive over time. Most achievements are quite manageable, but some are a bit of a grind, especially when you have to complete many events multiple times. However, you often get them incidentally just by playing and expanding your collection. I love the Crew 2 not because its some genius racing game with a lot of new ft. but because i am so nostalgic and happy with the memories i made playing this game with my friends.

Its a surprisingly high quality vehicle game with airplanes, boats and cars of all types that go on the road.
it has its downsides due to being overtly arcadey and doesnt really scratch that automotive itch unfortunately.

It places cars into a very restricted category, making cars that do have natively a competetive advantage on the street obsolete. Torque which is a essential automotive component is also missing whilst tuning and performance adjustements are available in a extremely vague format.

Supercars are always faster than streetcars, which is not a thing in reality. As pure example, Audi RS5 Sportback can reach only about 790 HP on max. In reality, Stage 4 RS5 Sportback reaches up to 1012 HP and due to its efficiency can challange a chiron even when tuned.

Therefore you cant really take your favorite cars and tune them to be competition ready, because supercars and hypercars are artificially hardcoded to be always faster, even when they are not. Most lamborghinis have in stock about 700 HP, so its not that much of a glory in a videogame world, yet they happen to be best vehicles in the game.

Its a fair game for what it is, its overtly-arcadey, has an incredibly delayed and wonky controls that will catch you off guard, because you'd expect the car to slide at high speed but it does something completely else.

There are some bugs and hiccups at popular cars, like tachometer not being aligned and glitched, but other than that, quite smart implications of mechanics.

it has its own atmosphere and it does it good enough, but dont expect automotive experience out of this, or anything comparatively close to realism. This is a toy for boys, not a vehicle game which hooks people on cheap thrills of supercars and hypercars, not to actual automotive, tuning & street racing experience. Within that extent, its very well executed.
