One of the 5 best shooters to play currently, and probably the most unique among them.

Believe everything good you've read about Nubby. It's all true. All of it.

Currently in a very bad state, with some of the worst onboarding of any game I've ever played. If they spend a year fixing and clarifying things it might be worth actually paying for and playing, but currently it's painfully undercooked.

Early Access Review
Snap has excellent and unique gameplay, and largely nails the Marvel flair, but it does fall into some of the classic pitfalls of other mobile games. If you're willing to play daily, the progression is actually very fair. You can't expect to have all the cards at any given time, but consistent play will slowly unlock the important cards since the game doesn't allow for traditional CCG card buying. If you have an affinity for Marvel characters and or CCGs this is really worth giving a shot. Admittedly the PC port is pretty poorly built as of now, but it still runs perfectly fine, even if it doesn't use the screen well and is obviously a mobile game.

I could write a dozen books about how and why Hades is so excellent, but there's a far easier way to explain the quality of Supergiant's latest (and greatest creation). Simply put, this game manages to somehow be the game of the year in the same year that saw the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake, The Last of Us 2, Doom Eternal, Animal Crossing New Horizons, Ghost of Tsushima, Half Life: Alyx, Persona 5 Royal, Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Spiderman Miles Morales, VALORANT, Crash Bandicoot It's About Time, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2. Practically any of these games could contend for or win the title of GOTY in a previous year, but when a team of 20 manages to imbue this level of quality into every single facet of their game it's undeniable. Hades is a genre defining classic, and will be applauded and played for years to come by anyone smart enough to add it to their cart.

This is a perplexing one boys. Optimization? Utter trash. Driving cars into civilians? Magnificent. Load times even on breakneck fast SSDs? Abysmal. I'm talking 5 minute load times no matter what you do. Does this game let you feel rich and powerful? Yes, but at the cost of your sanity, and wallet. Count on spending $100 after buying the game in order to properly experience its woefully grindy online mode. For everything that works amazingly in this game there are also a massively disproportionate number of atrocious decisions from Rockstar. I cannot endorse this as a game in 2020, but if you find yourself bored and with $15 to spare during a sale, you won't be wasting all of your time... Just a the vast majority of it of it.

CS:GO Review
CS:GO is certainly my favorite competitive shooter of all time, and overall the game I've put the most hours into. No doubt this is thanks to tight gameplay, accurate controls, and mechanics which can be improved upon for a near eternity. Matchmaking works surprisingly well with high enough trust-factor, and I can't remember the last time I played against an obvious hacker. The devs have also been frequently updating the game for a while, with largely quality updates. Any people that complain about gameplay and responsiveness at this point really need to just blame their internet or computers because the game behaves great all the time from my experience. If anything, I hate that you have to restart the game in order to restore sound if you accidentally unplug your headphone preamp.

Great stuff from Valve here boys.
