Absolutely ruined by a terrible camera

Honestly, pretty mad. Played every puzzle along the way and then got the fake-out ending which resets everything. Won't be replaying to try and get the other ending.

It's Vermintide 2... but better! And the music absolutely rocks! Seriously though, if you're into Warhammer 40k AT ALL then this is a great game - play it

An unkind review would suggest it's basically Civ with only military victories allowed and a 40k skin... which wouldn't be entirely inaccurate but would miss just how much the devs clearly *get* 40k.
The factions, which keep getting added, are all very distinct and just feel right. If you enjoy the aesthetic or play style on the table top you won't be disappointed with their presentation in Gladius. Yes some things work differently, but of course they do!
Seriously, this is one of a very small number of Games Workshop IP video games that, in my humble opinion, successfully capture the source material.

The Mortal Empires campaign is the most complete Warhammer experience yet - if you've ever enjoyed Warhammer in any of its forms and aren't playing this then you're missing out!

X-Com meets Wild West with demons. Demons. How can you NOT want to try this!?

This game is NOT a direct port of the old Games Workshop game "Battlefleet Gothic" (BFG). It just isn't. Which honestly I'm really glad of, I think this is better than a direct port would ever be.

I was skeptical of how a real-time strategy version of BFG would work but I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this game is. The multiplayer has RPG elements which feel like a cross between slowly growing a miniature collection and being the Admiral of your own fleet - and it's great!

Veteran BFG players be warned however; your tactics of old may not work any more but rest assured that fleet composition and positioning are still just as important.

New comers be aware; resist the temptation to take the biggest ships you can! Escorts play a pivotal role and you will regret not taking them.

If you answered yes to either of the above then play this game!
If you answered no to all of the above then... you should probably play this game to learn the error of your ways!

On the surface it only covers a handful of Dota 2 players but really it's a commentary on eSports and what makes them so appealing; the diversity and commitment of the players.
If you're into eSports then this is worth watching.
