Any tips? So far doin' the campaign for the tutorial, learn how to play first. Figuring out how to ramming speed into the enemy and all.

I only play single player campaigns. I played BSG Deadlock, but it got pretty repetitive and grated on me for some reason that Battlefleet does not. I fricken love this game and really enjoy each fight. Even pausing a lot the battles are quick and brutal compared to Deadlocks much longer slogs. Looking forward to playing the sequel when I finish this one but curious if there's other games out there like these I haven't heard of?...

I've got a question about the possible outcomes of this mission. Normally, I wouldn't care, but losing is required for Old But Gold achievement. So... If I win this battle: Blackfortress escapes, another Blackfortress is captured, Lukitar is destroyed (tho I don't understand why - I saved the base and repelled the attack), officer Vandez is dead. So new player here, and inspite of picking easy, I find this game extremely hard. Any tips or guides I can go by or are worth a check out? Also what am I supposed to do against the Tau as the Empire? I seriously do not know, I could over come all factions, but the Tau has range and beat me there, then I go in up close and personal and ram them, but that does not work out either. My torpedoes are literally ignored by them....
