Plays just like my old strategy games from the 90's.
I lost my first game on turn 1 after leaving my capital open to the barbarians directly next to me.

The recent Unreal Engine 5 update has lowered my fps range from a relatively decent 70-90 fps average to currently dropping below 30 frames during firefights with the same graphics setup I previously used. The low end settings I used for high frame-rates also somehow look *WORSE* than previously, with textures mushing into surrounding features and AA being an absolutely disgusting and distracting sludge.

I'm not sure why on earth this game needed to be ported to a new engine but frankly the current state of performance is unacceptable. I cannot recommend the game in It's current state, and until the terrible graphics are fixed or rectified, I will continue to caution against buying it.

This should have been a part of the warrior priest dlc. Don't buy.

Gud gaem

Bots have infested casual matchmaking to the point that players are forced to flee to moderated community servers to have a match in peace. Banning them would almost certainly be a one man job what with the metrics VAC collects on bot users, but it seems no one is behind the wheel.

This is my most played and loved game of all time. I hate to see it in this sorry state.

The most realistic hunting simulator on steam, for better or worse.

Pros: The graphics are stunning, the A.I. behaves naturally, and the tracking mechanics work great. Huge open vistas to explore with no end in sight.

Cons: Without the ATV dlc, walking around everywhere is a pain, perk/level progresson is slow, and it takes FOREVER to track those damn foxes.

Conclusion: Buy it if you want Euro Truck Simulator with guns.
