The swap to unreal engine, questionable enemy designs, including trooper cards into normal gameplay (and as a byproduct letting bosses use them aswell) and the grindiness to get decent equipment really weight down what otherwise would be a really fun game.

Buy the game on sale if you just REALLY want more of the Like a Dragon series, otherwise stay away and you wouldn't be missing out on much. The bad outweights the good of this game.

If you can bother building muscle memory for recoil patterns of multiple rifles, put up with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rng that is weapon spread aswell as finding an actual team of people to play this game with, I'd say it's okay. And remember, if you somehow missed all your shots with an M4A4 at point blank against a nova:

For a game that is mostly about shapes and music this has actually decent storyline lmao

oh yeah also Challenge mode and Playlist exists
have fun beating all the songs in the game on both normal and hardcore without getting hit

The game is unplayable at it's current state. Can't go 3 minutes without finding a spinbot that ruins the entire match

+2000 hours later the game is still filled to the brim with spinbots
