This is a fun rpg where you get to explore a sensationalized version of ancient Greece as someone who is essentially a demigod. It is *not* an Assassin's Creed game and if you go into it knowing that and expecting nothing from the previous AC titles you'll likely enjoy it a lot more.

There are several small references to AC themes like the animus and such, but they're so minute that it has only a small impact on the gameplay.

Ignoring the AC title and small sections of related quests etc, its a more or less a self contained story. You play as a lost child who is blessed by Zeus and travel all of Greece to solve the mystery of what happened to you and seek out a mysterious cult set on killing you. Combat is pretty fun and relatively simple and forgiving. Ship combat is reminicent of Black Flag so fun and enjoyable. It still has stealth elements like all AC games, and eventually lets you get some actual invisiblity that can last forever with the right setup.

The DLCs are very beautiful to look at and enjoyable to play. I highly recommend them if you enjoy the game.

Game has microtransactions that are all consmetic, except for a map that tells you where everything is which comes with the deluxe pack. I suggest getting this as the map is enormous and trying to get everything without it is very difficult.

Overall wait for a sale and if you like simple action RPGs and beautiful scenery.

This is a great adventure game. They really nailed the Indiana Jones vibe much more than the previous 2 movies did. Story is fun, gameplay is great, and the puzzles are fun but not incredibly difficult. Combat is a treat, and few things satisfy more than the whollop sound of a Indy punch to someone's face.

Troy Baker killed it as indy, and Voss is over the top and hilarious. A true staple villan for Indiana Jones.

Top notch game. Highly recommend it.

This game is frustrating to play. It suffers death by 100 cuts due to weird bugs, annoying choices, and shoddy enemy AI. Wait for a sale or until its fixed to spend the money. Would change my review if they fix some of these.

Problems (For reference, this is all on normal difficulty)
-Every zombie goes for the lunge grab, more so when attempting to run past them, so you have to give every enemy a 2 meter berth. Hope you like driving or swimming cause running isn't worth it.
-Waypoints disappear from the screen during a chase ??????
-So far every mission is ledge clambering the minigame. I feel like I'm playing Uncharted. At least in Uncharted it was consistent.
-Zombies can hit you more than once per swing, dealing 2x damage.
-Big guys with the concrete slab/hammers can hit you with their AOE about 1 story upwards.
-Adds during boss fights that infinitely respawn is cheap and shoddy design.
-Weapons break in about 5 zombie kills (at least at the start. I cant comment on later.)
-Virals are sudo hunters from L4D jumping 10 feet around you every second. They used to just be fast and annoying but now they fly at you and hit you for half HP.
-Fighting enemies (soldiers, bandits etc) melee to melee is a joke. They dodge all attacks instantly unless you parry or dodge them first. Just pull an Indiana Jones and shoot them to save yourself the effort.
-Epic Games Services for MP so be ready for a 'Lost Connection' Error message every ~10 minutes even when playing solo. Nice service choice devs.

Good things
-Game looks phenomenal graphics wise. City design in a European old town is a nice choice.
-Music is great and has that Dying Light theme leitmotif throughout most pieces.
-So far good performance. No performance hitches and whatnot. Still has that weird Dying Light engine bug where alt tabbing to a different window locks your mouse clicks a few times.

So far its bugs, and overtuned enemies that make this game hella annoying to play. Save your money and wait for a sale, or for the game to be tweaked and patched. Most of everything can be changed or fixed as the core is still there. I haven't played coop yet, but if its anything like the last one where progress minus loot isn't saved then this game is a pass.

I will never forgive Microsoft for closing one of the best immersive sim game studios to save money because they wanted to buy the most generic game franchise imaginable for a billion dollars.

The Plucky Squire oozes style and heart. It is a small adventure where you play the titular character and go on an adventure to defeat an evil wizard. Classic story telling with a lot of charm and a cast of fun characters.

Gameplay wise its very simple. You have sword slashes, sword (boomerang style) throws, spin, and jump attacks. You attack small enemies and defeat them all rather easily. Bosses are unique and require different gameplay to defeat. Its not a complex game but if you enjoy top down RPGs you will easily enjoy this game.

Its a long enough game, and took me about 6 hours to complete. The mechanics are solid, but I did run into several glitches while playing all of which caused me to revert to checkpoints and lose a few minutes of progress.

The 3D sections of the game are set in chapters. You can go into 3D in most rooms, but the 3D area is only expansive and not empty during certain parts. You can jump out of the pages for puzzles, but its only to jump back in at a different part almost immediately. The vast 3D parts are basically a sub chapter rather than a gameplay feature.

One core feature are small puzzles, and they are very simple and easy to complete (not a bad thing) but what I found frustrating was NPCs would essentially tell you how to solve it before you got a chance. You would get a new power/item and they would hand hold your way through it without letting you try it yourself. Idk if this is an option but it was kind of annoying. It feels like abilities are only activated when needed for a puzzle and it wont let you experiment outside the guided gameplay the game forces on you. The last chapter of the game I got stuck because the game soft-locked me since I couldnt use certain abilities. Some cutscene bugs where the game would freeze, reload the room, and the MC would be duplicated and the game would softlock.

Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. I would give it a 8/10 overall, with the gameplay being the weakest part of the whole game. It has tons of charm and I enjoyed every minute.

Short and sweet, although a little too expensive for the amount of content. Took me about 4 hours going slowly to get the majority of the game done without doing the mind numbing things like 'knock over 100 pots' for an achievement.

Run around a small part of the city, finding objects, collecting hats, climbing walls, knocking over pots, catching (and releasing) birds, causing havoc. Just normal cat things.

No enemies to worry about, no way to lose. Just explore, do things that are in your checklist, and find your way back home.

7/10. Too short for the price, but a cute adventure that was enjoyable for an afternoon.

This game is Black Mesa/Half Life 1 mixed with Zomboid style survival mechanics and Raft style story progression.

Your goal is to survive and make it out of the research facility you're stuck inside of. This involves defending yourself against aliens and *others*, cooking food and getting clean water, and maintaining things like sleep. You play as an old scientist who just arrived when the place implodes, meaning you must do all these things to survive and escape.

There is base building, crafting, dubious science, and unfamiliar places to explore as you find or craft the needed things to advance through the dilapidated facility. Its a lot of fun with friends, but has some merits if you want to play solo too.

As of this review its in early access, so its not complete as of yet. Without spoilers, the end of current content is vague and unclear whether its in world 'meta' or the devs trying to be cryptic in saying 'come back later'. An explicit dev message telling you this would be much more helpful.

Combat feels a bit like a chore sometimes. Some enemies have way too much health, while others die in two hits. They did recently just change the amount of spawns in solo, but some enemies are a problem by yourself and having even one other enemy with them means death if you play solo. All stuff that can be easily changed through more player feedback and playing.

Its very easy to get lost in the facility, but they have tried to mitigate this with signs everywhere and maps you can acquire. If you could make some sort of craftable digital addon to your PDA to enhance the map with POIs or workbenches or even other players it would help a lot too.

You need basic things like wood, staplers, metal, glass constantly through the game, but these things don't respawn under default settings. You can go to portal worlds to get some after they reset, but this is a chore and not very fun. If you play solo there is a good chance you wont run out of items, even with 2-3 people, but any more resources get tight when everyone tries to craft armor, weapons, beds etc. Id love to be able to change the loot respawn option on a server but once the save is started you cant anymore. At least make things like staplers have a higher spawn chance an be craftable from other components like metal or screws.

I hope there are more cosmetics on the way, both meta ones like the engineering outfit and run specific ones.

Love this game. I look forward to playing more when more content releases. Solid 9/10 with friends.

This game is a great time with friends. Fly to an 'abandoned' moon, go into a derelict building, collect scrap, find out about the deadly fauna, barely escape with your life and watch your friends perish around you. Pretty much everything in this game will kill you, so surviving is an achievement in itself.

Simple yet fun mechanics that work really well with friends. Its not the best by yourself, but if you have friends its a great time. It would be really fun to have more than 4 players in bigger maps for a more chaotic time.

Dredge is a fun fishing game that involves some exploration, small amounts of crafting, and some basic problem solving skills. It has a fun story, good mechanics, a decent amount of content to reach 100%, and some cool areas to explore. All the while you must avoid threats from the deep, both natural and unnatural. If you enjoy collectathons, fishing, easy minigames, and lovecraftian horror you'll like this game. Collect all 151 fish like you're a pokemon trainer.

Story - 7/10
Gameplay - 7/10
Graphics - 7/10
Sound - 8/10
Controls - 8/10

Overall - 8/10. A great game with little to no replayability, yet it is charming and entertaining enough to justify its price. I do recommend it.
