ok but what if it was called saints row: lupin III?

on a serious note though, this game was unfunny and meh at best, unfunny and boring at worst. gameplay is incredibly easy, i barely ever died in a fight or failed a challenge, which made taking over areas of steelwater not feel like that big of an accomplishment. humor is incredibly aged and makes the game feel like a season 3 beyond rick and morty episode. only reason i picked up this game was because it was like $4 for the game and all DLC and i was curious, wouldn't pay full price for this (i get it's only $15 for the full package, but i can name several games for that price or cheaper that are way better than SRIII.)

final words: only buy it on sale pretty much lol.

While I haven't completed this game yet, I've gone through most of it so I can get a general opinion of it (I completed all of the prequel and original trilogy levels.)
It's definitely an upgrade from The Complete Saga. I really like the action game direction they took with this game. While it's not really a challenge, it's still fun to play and I usually just get lost collecting kyber bricks and studs. It's humor also got me to laugh sometimes, especially the nods to the prequel memes. It definitely made me interested in Star Wars again, and I'll make sure to rewatch the first 6 movies one day.

However, there are a few issues I have with the game. While it did do a better job of showcasing the actual films than TCS did, the levels felt way shorter. An entire episode could probably be cleared in 30 min-an hour (not counting all the stuff you need to collect.) Hopefully in the future we can get some sort of level pack that has longer levels. Another major issue for me, albeit rare, was the optimization of some areas. The droid factory level lags HORRIBLY. Even on the lowest settings I still was below 30 fps. The Ewok village also is a bit laggy as well, but definitely more bearable than the droid factory. This will probably get fixed in a patch, though.

Despite its flaws in certain aspects, TSS is still a worthy successor to TCS.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOVE Metal Slug, by far it's my favorite game series of all time, but this MS game (including MS 7) are the worst games in the series by far, even worse than MS 4.

The first three missions are fine, they're good for what they are. Not really that challenging, but at the same time not piss easy. But missions 4 and onward are an unbalanced mess. I've been playing MS games for most of my life, and I know that they are meant to be challenging, which is a good thing for me since I love that kind of stuff, but MS 7/XX's latter levels are very poorly balanced. Sometimes, enemies crowd the entire screen to the point where you usually can't clear the room without dying once. One time I even got killed by an enemy that was pretty much off screen in the final mission. It felt like they were trying to do what the old MS team did with MS 3 (which made it the best in the series,) but they didn't understand what made it so great.

This port is rather barebones, too. I didn't get any lag issues, but still the native resolution was far too small for my monitor and I had to use DS4Windows in order to use the analog stick, which is my preferred method of playing MS games.

Originally, I had this review as a positive, but that was mainly for nostalgic reasons rather than an actual critique. Replaying it now years later, I realize this was a pretty mid game. pains me to leave a bad review on a MS game, but it's better to just skip this game and MS 7 as a whole.

I don't know where to stand with this game honestly. If I could give it a slight recommendation, I would. Best way I can say it is that it's a good game, but it's a bad port.
Putting aside all the optional microtransactions stuff and the game being very barebones even after we got slayer playlists, the PC port of this game is horrible. This game runs at 30fps on a Xbox One, it should be able to run at 60FPS at low settings on my 1050TI. Microsoft should've known to make the game run well on lower end hardware, especially when we're in a time where the GPU market is being dominated by scalpers and the crypto market. Even worse is that recently an update made performance WORSE than it was. I went from just having slight slowdowns to the game outright freezing for a few seconds, alongside not being able to queue for Big Team Battle. According to what I've heard, the campaign runs even worse than the multiplayer.
Tl;dr: wait for a fix if you're below the recommended specs. Sad to see the best Halo game we had since Reach be plagued with some of the worst performance issues, especially after the MCC PC port.

EDIT: Some other things I forgot to mention: ranked has a massive cheater problem, and the game lags whenever I try to play with my friends. Every other multiplayer game I play with friends barely lags, but whenever I play with friends in Infinite I lag like hell, causing me to do significantly worse than what I usually do solo.

>be TF2 PC version
>be the only version of the game that is fully up to date and free
>a console port of your game which is running the oldest version of the game and costs money is miles better than you

if you wanna play this game, hop on an xbox 360/ps3 and get the orange box. the price of the game (and maybe the console) is far more worth it than 1 minute in a TF2 PC lobby.

by the small chance valve comes back to fix this ♥♥♥♥, then i will update this review.

edit: actually it's still pretty fun as long as u stay far away from casual/competitive
