1,000+ hours in this hellhole.

There's a reason why this game is 95% off right now. I’ve played for 1,000+ hours, didn't touch it since 2023, and coming back now I can say with full confidence this ♥♥♥♥ is unplayable. Every new hero they add, every single update, and it just keeps getting worse. I stop playing for a while and the next hero they add is just hyper-armoring a 24-inch blade to the chest consecutively. Their response to the hyper-armor nightmare? Add another hyper-armor piece of garbage character right after it.

Not to mention that back then I felt like I could play this game with mouse and keyboard. That's what I've always used. Now?? I need a pro scuff controller, it’s genuinely a controller-only game on Steam. The game instability is still a joke too—expect to get booted from a match right as you're winning for no reason at all. I have literally broken a wall, my desk, 3 mouses, two keyboards, and a monitor playing this game. It is designed to make you lose your mind.

So why am I recommending it?

Because despite all that, it is without a doubt the only fighting game of its kind. Nothing I have ever played hits anywhere close to this. It isn't Mordhau or Chivalry, it is 4v4 TEKKEN. It’s the only game on my PC that never gets uninstalled. The directional combat is still the coolest system ever made and parries feel incredibly responsive when the servers actually hold up.

If you are the type of person to get really angry over video games, give this one a pass. But if you want to experience the most unique fighting game ever, buy it on sale. Just be prepared to buy a new monitor eventually.
