This game is just great. Easy to pick up, gradual learning curve but it also leads to a lot of complexity down the road for those who seek it.
The best part is that unlike other builder games, this one scales wonderfully. From very early to late game stats never get ridiculous.
It also allows players to approach it however they want. Either as a series of challenges or to keep playing beyond the end of a mission like in a classic builder game.
A breath of fresh air as a game - particularly how the majority of updates are community suggestions/requests.

An absolute legend of a game and 15 years on; the best voice acting in any game!

It's a great little game which can obviously be frustrating.
When it's good it's great. The Generals (or RTS as we call it) aspect of the game is unique and makes for some very interesting and riveting interactions.
Yes, there's tonnes of grinding to be done but this is no "pay to win".

To the new players: It starts off really easy and slow but then round about lvl5 you're thrown into the viper pit. DO stick it out though because once you can survive the slaughter that is, entering battles with everyone else (and no longer just fresh players like before) the experience gets really rewarding.

Over 3'500 hrs on Steam and a few hundred on the browser don't lie. It's a game that can keep one's interest.
