A well crafted game!

Good game.

Sadly the sheer greed in the cash shop makes me wince, and I won't play on that alone.

Oh and inverted controller settings is broken. Which is wild.

I'm in love with this game.

I heard about Elona not long ago, and in turn heard about Elin(sInn) after. It sounded like the type of game you hear and say to yourself "Man, that sounds like it was made for me"

I impatiently waited for the release while playing Elona+ trying to grip the vibe of the game, I failed. It's complicated.

I was, however dedicated to making sure I immersed myself into Elin. I was beyond impressed.

The Dev has released an impressive amount of fixes, updates etc in the short time this has been out. The love, dedication has been such a breath of fresh air. It's silly, engaging, and constantly surprises me with some new thing, mechanic, or suddenly touching writing.

Is it for everyone? No, absolutely not. This is a niche game for a certain type of person. If you're on the fence, I encourage you to watch gameplay. But if this game seems like it's for you, then your free time will dissipate into the ether..quickly.

Since starting I've become an accomplished miner. Found allies in the form of cute younger older ladies, animals, and extremely old children. I've gone from a clumsy musician to a successful bard playing music for snobby nobles. I've felled powerful demons only to fall to the power of some glowing woodland creature on my way to a rural, snowy town to buy some food. I've found riches in a vine covered dungeon. Had my entire party wiped out by a few bad choices, only to regroup and return with a different strategy and dominate a previously feared monster. I've collected cards, figures, and grown my town to pay for taxes that are a constant consideration. I've played an incredible amount of basketball to remove crippling sickness. I could go on for a long time.

With all that, I don't think I've come even vaguely close to seeing what this experience has to offer. I fully expect to spend 500+ hours on one run if not way, way more. With the dungeon delving, town building, exploring and character progression there is more to do in this very early access game then most any other game I've played. I'm nearly 70 hours in, less then 2 weeks and can't wait to play more.

I got this game yesterday. I have 20.5 hours.

Really, really good.

Conan+ Pokemon+ Botw and some guns for some reason.

Surprisingly good, probably one of the best VS clones so far. Tons to unlock in an engaging way. Thumbs up.

Great music, and sound design. Mix of auto-attack and manual aim.
