A really charming game with a lot to love about it. The artwork and music are phenomenal, and the setting and characters are really cute even if a little one dimensional. Its biggest flaws would be the kind of samey gameplay (mostly held back by making some of the more fun additions to the gameplay available basically as the game is ending), audio issues (once you get some digging upgrades and some FM stations the constant overlapping audio can become really grating), and frankly the biggest issue is the game is rife with bugs and crashes. Hopefully these are things the developers can iron out in patches, because this game is really adorable and enjoyable when its lack of polish isn't apparent.

Crazy good marble game, starts out just fun to roll around and ends with some very difficult levels that are hard just to complete, let alone get Gold Rank and All Gems on. The thought of tackling Arcade mode and having to do it all with limited lives is both horrifying and exciting. Heavily recommend for ball enjoyers

A surprising amount of content for what was anticipated to be a barebones experience. New mechanics are enjoyable, the narrative is interesting and full of new questions and interesting characters that the future will follow up on. Biggest flaws for me are that the smaller missions in-between major missions feel all quite samey and the readability of the map does not lend well to classic metroidvania secret hunting. All in all a really solid expansion that I hope paves the way for good things to come.
