How can this game be less intuitive than Ark and Green Hell. Have a more confusing crafting list system than Vintage Story while sill feeling like its been released decades ago?

I love the core idea of a Conan Exiles type game set in an Egyptian setting, with tribes and the cool masks.

But the second you enter the game, it decides to show you every crafting recipe under the sun in the list, whether you unlocked it or not, making finding things you can craft really difficult.

In Coop people are frequently visually just standing around while they are actually moving and doing stuff, because desync i guess.

The Tribe/Thrall system is good, works similar to Conan Exiles.

Over all it feels like Conan Exiles Early Access in 2018, not a full release survival-craft

It feels very unfinished in every aspect. The movement is wonky, the guy has a standing turn radius of a 80 ton truck. Lock-On is more of a hindrance than a help, Jumping while sprinting doesn't work. Shadows on Ultra are blocky and projected by invisible items a lot of the time.
Its technically, mechanically and Quest-clearity wise far behind even something like Dark Souls from 2011, which is a shame since i love BDO (Black Desert as its now just known) which is basically the same engine and look, but without all these weird graphical issues and movement issues.

Needs more time coocking, could be good in like 6-12 months.

Everyone is using basically the same deck, so you have no choice in your own deck building than to make a counter to that one, meta, deck

After playing it once after this game came to steam and playing it before on the Bethesda Launcher, i didnt play it for a year or two just to realize when i wanted to get back into it, that my account has been permanently banned. When emailing Bethesda support the reply was "Lol, sucks for you" since there was no reason to ban an inactive, not conpromised account even on their side they didnt find any reason why my account was banned, but they didnt feel like fixing it.

This game, like its predecessor, is just "What if Starfield was good?"

Cant recoomend, at least right now.

The game feels clunky, unrefined, slow in places and artifiacally sped up in others.
It doesnt even feel like Code Vein 1.

Having just replayed Code Vein 1 and recently played through No rest for the Wicked, this game seems painfully squishy in its movements and combat im comparison to its predecessor even.

Also for me, it doesnt help that my gameplay runs at 144Hz and then comes a cutscene with max 30fps, noticable stuttering, animations that fit more a PS1 era game broken Textures and Shadows in the background while people speak. Its a vasual thing that I know bothers me more than the average Gamer.

For now, i will let it rest for a while, replay Code Vein 1 again (probably) and come back when things are hopefully better and dont feel so spongy.

Edit: after giving it another bit of my time, to see how the Boss in the Water Treatment facility behaves... god its bad... Enemies literally attack faster than the FAST evade window, so WHILE you evade they hit you 2-3 times. The Boss has a faster attack cooldown than the players hit-recovery, so once you are hit once and you get the whole "oooh i was hit, let me shake that hit off" thing, the boss hits you 3 times before you can even roll, parry or counter attack.... thats very unbalanced. And no, its not "Too hard" i have like 1,5k hours in Souls+Elden Ring and most of them with challenge runs, so i am used to difficult settings and stakes stacks against me; This on the other hand is a broken system.

Early Access Review
The Style is gorgeous, gameplay nice and flows well.
Crafting is fine, the resource grind is okay. Housing doesnt seem to have a real benefit apart from putting things there to look better.

All in all, like it so far.

I dont mind paid visual stuff, as long as its not MTX progression or paiywalled content. These Cosmoload weapon skins look nice and i like the idea of integrating them when sheathed
