Balance team doesn't play their own game. Suits do not get meaningful nerfs when deserved whatsoever. Events give PATHETIC amounts of event rewards and are CLUTTERED with garbage. Win 5 Rounds, get 1 pod, contains ONE item per pod, and you'll just get a white ornament because of there being 18 ornaments that ALL look the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ same. IF you get dupes from the event pod? Yeah 1 Material Point per white dupe. So you end up playing for an hour to get a SINGLE WHITE ORNAMENT.

Devs are extremely disrespectful to their players' time. If you're looking for a game that actually feels rewarding to play, satisfying to grind, or feels like the dev team actually cares about the playerbase this is NOT THE GAME FOR YOU.

Full Details of the most recent FOMO style event they've launched:

1. The Pull tickets take 5 round wins to obtain. 12 points per round win, less on losses, 50 for 1 pull.
2. The event pods have 1 item PER POD. Whereas EVERY other pod has 3 items per pod.
3. Duplicate pulls break down into 1/5th of the normal dust rates, so you get about 1/15th the dust you'd normally be accumulating thanks to the 1/3rd quantity of pulls.
4. There are NO challenges to get additional progress towards a pull, you simply play and win rounds to get progress at a stagnant rate.
5. 47% of the loot pool are bland, uninspired ornaments that look NEARLY identical to eachother in game. You will literally never notice the difference.
6. Even the Legendaries are plagued with 2 ornaments, so you can get pump faked by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DOG TAG.
7. You CANNOT craft the other items in the loot pool with the dupe dust you get. You HAVE to pull them from pods 100% RNG.
8. The event period is JUST short of 2 weeks long.


Honestly, save yourself the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ headache and simply don't play this game. The devs don't balance anything based on player feedback, bugs don't get fixed and we've had the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs since the Alpha phase, and the Season Pass honestly sucks rewards-wise unless you pay for the premium.

If you want a fun Free to Play game, this is not it. There is NOTHING to do as a F2P player. AT ALL. The levels mean nothing, the free rewards from the Season Pass are a joke, and new suits take FOREVER to unlock without Micro-Transactions.

Game is very fun

PvE is great, story is amazing, music is amazing

PvP sucks, but who cares anyways

Compared to the flub that was Clatter, this game is actually quite fun to play.

Has the feel you'd expect from a bullet hell game but the screen does move and pan on its own which can be quite annoying.

Bonus: if you own Rust you get an arcade cabinet item in game that gives you something to do while waiting out the pitch black nighttime or while crafting items in bulk.

If you're getting into the game because of OTV streamers, be prepared for an experience that is nothing like their streams.

The game is filled with PvP and raiding and you should trust nobody at first glance.

Always been a fan of Souls series and FromSoft games

DS1 had great lore and less than great controls/mecahnics
DS2 had less than great lore with improved controls/mechanics

DS3 has good lore, mecahnics/controls, and just feels like they took the better portions of the previous games and came out with a more polished game.

This review is pretty late written compared to when I first bought the game/played it on midnight release way back but hey, I need to get this Steam badge progress for Ambassador and figured this would be as good a game as any to review.

20/10 game, worth the buy if you enjoyed the previous ones. At this point if you haven't bought it already then hurry up and buy it.
