Where to even start.
Classic Open World RPG game the way they are supposed to be, minimal loading screens. Believe there are 4 loading screens if you play hardcore mode which are 3 regions and when loading the save, and not a loading screen every time you open a door (Yes I’m looking at you Bethesda)

You are greeted with a title screen where the developers are showing their gratitude that you decided to buy their game, not pushed with a million microtransactions (Yes I’m looking at you Ubisoft)

The Studio has respected the time period pretty well, and not tossed in all the modern day morals and political correctness everywhere, yes there are some stuff such as homosexual relations which ofc was a thing, just not as prominent as a lot of people wish it was, and there is a person of color you encounter, which a lot of people where sceptic about, but this characters story makes sense to why he is there in the countryside of bohemia, and people have what I would assume is the accurate reaction to seeing him, considering 99% would never have left their home region, much less their own kingdom.

The graphics are beautiful, and if you are not happy, then there are 100’s of reshades on Nexus Mods to help you.

The open world is not that big when you look at it compared to other games, but you are stuck on either horseback or foot, and traveling takes a bit of time, which makes it feel much larger then it is. On top of that, the amount of details makes every journey worth it. Even after 600+ hours, I still find new POI (Point of Interest) and paths or roads I can never remember going down before, and it surprises me all the time.

The story has a decent duration, believe about 50 hours. The writing is brilliant as well as the voice actors. Some animations are a bit “off” or goofy, but its part of the charm. If you decide to rush through the story, then you are missing out. There is so much side content, I believe there are almost 100 tasks and side quests to the game (Base game). Does not rival Skyrim in the amount of side quest, which is closer to 350 I believe, but Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 side quests are much better, both story wise and design. When you first sit down with the game, time becomes a blur and suddenly 7 hours have passed and its 1AM, and you realize that you must be up in 6 hours.

The price of the game is perfect. I remember the days when this was the average cost for new games, now the base game from AAA studios cost as much as the Royal Edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, then they push microtransactions on top of it, then DLC’s that cost $40-$50 for a additional 20-30 hours of gameplay, and ofc more microtransactions.

Where should i start

Got the game around a year ago, and fell in love with it
Warhorse Studios did a great job on this game in my opinion, yea there are some bugs here and there but what can you expect with a open world RPG, Bugs are a part of this genre of games.

The world is well made and you can take a look at the same area on google maps and you will see, its almost a perfect 1 to 1, Warhorse Studios did an amazing job

The armor and weapons looks pretty accurate to what they would have back in these days, and you will see great variation of it used, guards, bandits and mercenaries all have same key markings but still such a variation in their armor.

The dialogue for the character is a bit awkward from time to time with the characters movement, but its nothing to big of a issue.

cutscenes are weird some times. From time to time your character Henry will be wearing a different set of armor then what you are wearing, example of this is one of the Siege of XXXXBerg and the attack on a certain larger camp in the south west part of the map (Players who finished the story will know)

The fighting mechanics are some of the best i have encountered in a game
1. They are hard to master, which makes sense since Henry is a blacksmith apprentice and the son of the blacksmith, not a super soldier
2. You need to practice, you don't come in as a Knight in shining armor and ♥♥♥♥ on anyone who attempts to fight you
3. the Bow mechanics are hard to master, but same as everything else........you need to practice, and when you have practiced you also get a higher skill level, and you can become got damn Robin Hood or Legolas with that bow if you put the effort in to it

Understand that this is not everyones cup of tea

The Story it self is well written in my opinion, characters are well written and I feel that i'm actually there, the game sucks you in to the story and BOOM, 5 hours has passed in the blink of an eye.
There are some quest i did not enjoy (Boring Quests) but they are buildups to larger quests
and the further you get, the more interesting this story gets, you just need to give the game some time

There are some mechanics that Is a bit.........bad i guess
such as the, you can get dirty
if you are dirty, you get a charisma penelty, and you get dirty quick, but there is a mod for that on Nexus that makes it take longer before you get dirty.

So i suggest if you buy this game, take a look at the few mods out there, Nexus has most of it as far as i know
some of the mods are viusal, some are mechanical, some are just remakes of items or armor, but the mods out there are well made, and it seems the creators took pride in this

well, started with i watched a few videos on YouTube.....I got the game.....now i don't play anything else

for a game that is still in development, it’s amazing, can't wait to see what they will add next updates, and what the community will be making of it, right now 4.23.2020 there are a few mods out there, in a year there will be thousands of great mods.

the gameplay and story
the gameplay is amazing, great battles, amazing siege battles. the quest line is still a bit of, not sure if it is done yet but there is lot more you can do while waiting for the game to be full released.
You can pretty much talk to anyone there is, yeah, most townsmen and woman have the same things to say but still a cool detail. You can explore the towns you are in or the villages around the area and they look believable, and with the graphics I feel like I’m there

visual and graphics
the game looks fantastic, the armor looks realistic. The castles look realistic, missing a few details but not something you will really think about if you don’t look for these details when attacking them.
The graphics are great, even on low settings, I do experience large frame-drops during siege battles still, and that is something I hope they will fix, it’s understandable when you have 500-1000 soldiers running around, shooting arrows, pushing battering rams up to the gates and destroying them, siege towers have large amount of soldiers climbing up, 30-50 men bashing shields against each other.

Overall, I would give the game a 7/10 right now, but it is getting better and better for every update

Got the game for one reason.....the Netflix series.......and it was worth.......10/10 soooooo

Its a great game i love the story and nice grapics, BUT ther is way to many bugs and glitches her, the game is much more stable on ps3 and Xbox so hope they are gonna fix it and stabelize it soon
