For the faults it's still better than Arc Raiders.

You can have such a chill time playing this game, I haven't stopped thinking about it since I played the Demo.

But honestly, rather than that, I just recommend playing it for yourself. I have wish listed and will be buying the full release on the 16th.
There are so many little moments in this game that take you away from just relaxing too, the excitement of going after the big fish, the fun of catching little ones and throwing them back to keep space for the big one! The one you tell everyone about but nobody believes you. Upgrading your equipment is great, using the correct lures helps a bunch too haha.
I am not a fisherman, nor have I ever been fishing outside of mini games, however this game captured me. I love it. I can't wait.
