Racing is extremely fun and actually satisfying but the game needs... A lot of work. I don't know if you're supposed to do a rolling start but it seems like a bug where it counts down to start and the cars drive slow and when they hit the start line they sort of stop until the announcer says go.

What I DO like about this game is the arcade style racing. You have a boost that you spool up by pressing A and the trigger at the same time release A and the boost goes off, but you can only do it when the guage is completely full. When you do, do a boost it lowers your health bar and you hold left bumper to repair the vehicle. It is a nice system where you aren't just mindlessly boosting and have to think about it, otherwise you can explode yourself. Crashing out rival racers is part of the game, lots of open ledges to knock them off and obstacles to smash em into.

Where this system DOES need work is, I feel there needs to be some sort of trade off for repairing like maybe you can't turn the wheels or something while you're repairing so it would have to be used on a straight or something, it is much too strong.

The game has two campaigns one is like a tree, so you beat this mission unlock these two missions get stuck on this one? Go back and try a different one to unlock a different branch. There is also a homage to Mortal Kombat with the tower mode, You race your way to the top of the tower to reach the final level and win.

The game relies heavily on old school nostalgia when the race starts the announcer says 'this was filmed in front of a live studio audience' some missions have you picking up pogs and PS1s, VHS players and so on which is quite cute. The cars are all pretty cool you have things like McLaren F1s and Toyota Supras and even some economy cars salt and peppered in. There are also cool trucks, busses and other novelty vehicles to unlock it seems. If you're a fan of 80's 90's you may like this game. It has old school arcade racer vibes, the voice acting could use some work but it seems like its just one dude doing the voice overs and he has a good sense of humor.

I didn't see no video so I am not biased.

Decent tower d game, nice graphics good sounds and music. You control Tangy which she summons healers tanks and archers each with skill trees that will evolve their playstyles sometimes like archers can place on tree stumps to increase their range. Obvious damage/health/attack speed upgrades can be purchased here too after every run.

The game gets unique because each tower or in this case they are heroes have equipment you can spend money at your orange tree for new items which are random, rerolls cost money and goes up every time you reroll the seleciton merging items upgrades them. At times you can get items that cannot be merged to upgrade but they are usually good tiered items and dont really need upgrading.

The game is quite unique, at least so far there was one boss battle where the pirates on the ship were shooting cannons at you so depending where you placed your towers they would bombard you, eventually the one guy starts shooting you no matter what. You can use Tangy and draw their fire away from your units while they keep fighting the baddies. You also need to attack the boat with your units, which is the opposite of tower d. The one nice thing about this evolving landscape is that you are not bound to that one position, you don't need to sell the towers you can just get Tangy to pick them up and move them to adapt to the battle.

A battle may start at one end, then rats start going out of the woods half way through, so you have to micro manage your towers to a certain extent.

Game is fun, engaging and not particularly mind numbing like lots of other tower d games are.

Very fun game, twin stick looter/shooter with some tower defence/base building elements sprinkled in. Each level has a 'tier' of weapon and then a rarity, a la Diablo the more rare the item the more affixes it will have like frost/flame bullets or extra capacity maybe it fires an extra bullet. One complaint I mainly have, it seems that a tier 1 rifle is the same as a tier 2 rifle besides damage values and such. I felt it may be nice to have a bigger variety. Off the top of my head there is a pistol, revolver, sniper rifle, assault rifle, bolt action rifle, shotgun, cannon, rocket launcher and gatling gun. It seems that they just rotate through each level with higher tiers to add more damage and scale it to the new levels. It did not feel as if there were many more guns to unlock as the game progresses.

As you do battle, you can build towers/fences to manipulate the way enemies approach your base you start with a few drones and they can search the map and mark boxes if they have loot in them they can assemble towers or bring crystals back to the reactor so you don't manually have to or they can also retrieve stuff from junk piles and of course, the drones can defend you. After battle will get scraps, circuits and food these are used to build facilities in your base which can unlock abilities in game like starting with more chitz to buy towers/fences or radar upgrades so you can see enemies and loot on the map, buy more drones or bulk up your health bars.

You also gain experience to unlock new abilities or just do simple improvements like make drones/turrets stronger

This is a very fun and addicting game, I was locked in then I killed the boss of the fourth stage and ran around the whole map for 20 minutes trying to figure out how to complete the level... Nothing. Even in that state, I was very satisfied with my playthrough so far, the game is challenging but also rewarding. Hopefully it gets patched soon so I can finish it up!

It's duke nukem, not much else to say. Just as fun as I remember it just as pixellated as I remember. Has multiplayer, pretty cool if you want to play the story co-op like Duke N64 there is also a new level.

My only qualm is thr $21.99 price tag.... I get it but also... This release is almost 10 years old... Get it on sale boys.

A new take on this franchise, while similar it is also different.

You're on a time travelling adventure which is cute, graphics are crisp the game has SOME issues running but it isn't in game play just in the open world part.

Music is .... Questionable. I feel like they repeat the songs way too often, I understand they expect you to unlock more BGM by playing the game or something... But the BGM is always default in the level anyhow... I thought possibly you'd be able to pick the songs after you replay the level.

The game has become a bit of a 'collectathon' there are now crowns scattered through every level, now you don't just finish the levels you have to have 'x' crowns to unlock next level.

The rolling has been a bit more refined and easy to navigate the menu, but in my opinion is hinders the game. I find that the dangerous obstacles aren't too dangerous.

Fun game, wouldn't pay for it full price I don't think.

This game is pretty interesting, I like to play it when I am multitasking.

The graphics style is very retro, like 8-bit but incredibly stylized. Music is quite awesome as well, I am always surprised by the jams. It is a rogue like game, you slowly unlock new items and weapons as you play the game the items are different enough but it doesn't seem any are OP even mythic items aren't too strong which makes the game fun, only complaint I have is there are too many useless or just... Bad items.

I am quite hooked on this game.

It isn't as 'open world sandbox' as I would like but my two cents is that this game is fun and unpredictable.

Even while doing the missions it's all quite random, mission is give out speeding tickets? You see a robbery/carjacking/mugging/etc you are able to intervene,

Driving physics are fun, a little slippery which makes it a little fun. The AI drivers are hilarious and it adds to the games fun. People stop short all the time cause fender benders which you can intervene in as well. When in pursuit you can call for backup in the form of other squad cars to back you up or a helicopter. You can even call for a spike strip, being that the game is set in the 80s the arsenal is quite limited in todays standards but they do give you a taser which (I don't think is era appropriate imho but I don't really care too much) as you progress you unlock more weapons, different patrol cars.

The game isn't just about ticketing people, there is a story to the game you are supposed to be hitting your beat for evidence to give to the detectives so they can make a case on the gangs to take them out. You get enough evidence cards for each gang and you can take down their captain then underboss and eventually the boss. There is also a street racing storyline and a serial killer one as well on top of the gang boss take down.

The game is unique, the controls.... Could use some work. I really dislike the cover and shoot mechanics but after time you get used to it.

It's like GTA:Online if there was no violence or drug deals. Just go around do some tasks gain money trick out a car then troll the cops in your 400hp Buick.

Be a police, tow truck driver, long haul trucker, garbage man, pizza delivery driver or a city bus driver. Add neon lights and a custom paint job to show people you mean business.

I've put about 100 hours into this game on my other family account, dont let this review fool you.

Very much like Squadron TD or Direct Strike in Starcraft, limited to just mechs though which I can understand since the game is supposed to be competitive. Having a bunch of races with 25 different units would be a mess to try and balance kind of like the SC versions were always quite unbalanced.

Very fun, addicting game play my only real complaint is that the game has a lot of IAPs/MTX and it's a huge turn off for me. As far as it seems though they're all cosmetic purchases so your game play is not affected by this (I don't think)

The game is sort of a rock paper scissors scenario, if your opponent is going with lots of squishy units, get dudes with splash damage. Basically each round you try to counter whatever your enemy throws at you. Units can be upgraded, they also rank up. The game allows you to also do back attacks and flank attacks instead of always just having to attack head on.

I've really fallen in love with this game. It is unforgiving but has some good bones to it. I just wish there was a little more 'to do' on the maps. As it is right now, people rush for keys/gpu/skull/cheese/hotsauce spawns and then people rat around after 20 minutes.

That being said, I really like the variety of guns/armor/attatchments I like the progression system of having to level up merchants to get better items for purchase the missions are kind of stale or just really ridiculous, like find 15 canned peaches?!?

My only complaint is the meme community the devs have created behind the game, it is very hard to critisise this game because almost nobody will take you seriously and just tell you that you have a 'skill issue' when you have any sort of constructive complaints about the game.
