For 12 years, we fought.
For 12 years, we bonded.
For 12 years, we were family.

From humble beginnings, we pieced together our ships and rose from the Cosmodrome. We found our first Sparrows, and we fought back the Darkness that threatened our home. We fought for the Tower. We fought for our friends.

Together, we faced gods... and together, we brought them down.

We battled the Vex. We stood against the Hive. We defeated Crota and Oryx, and fought back against the Fallen. Then the Cabal came, and we lost everything.

But together, we rose from the ashes.

We reclaimed the Dreaming City. We challenged Savathûn. And in the end, we stood against The Witness itself.

We never fought alone.
We fought together.
As one.

Our time together may be cut short, Guardians, but keep your eyes up. As we move forward into uncertainty, find solace in the journey we shared.

Are we not Guardians?
Do we not face impossible odds, fall, and rise again?

Remember those we lost.
Remember Cayde's sacrifice.
And never give up.

It has truly been an honor serving alongside each and every one of you. Through the Crucible and into the Vault of Glass. From dawn to dusk. From sunrise... to sunset...
