DONT BUY:
This game is essentially abandonware, already dead after less than a year.

Devs took the money and ran off in typical Slitherine style!

This is still very much a tech demo!

2 years on and you still get stuck in infinite loading screens when joining games!

Pretty decent game, although you could kill 200+ xeno's, there's somehow still loads of them walking around the settlement and doesn't take into consideration of the reduced threat with every xeno killed. Xeno's a pretty dumb and don't follow the same behaviour patterns as seen in the films.

Game was also released and then abandoned, a few bug fixes and QOL improvements, but that was it. Game forces you to make silly decisions and you start out really weak an ineffective, upgrades are stupidly expensive, artificially making the game hard as you progress. Might as well just be Wei-Yu goons as no marine would marine in the Alien lore would ever deploy in such a state.

If you do play, be sure to visit Nexus for mods that bring the experience on par with the films, making turrets carry more ammo and deal more damage etc.

It's like Hogwarts legacy, released on PC, minor updates and then the devs ran off and announced a new Hogwarts. Wouldn't be surprised if they pull a Jurassic world move where they release a newer version with 20% more features, the same features that were modded into the game.

Only buy on sale, if you can, buy it from a key site so the devs get less.

It's an okay game. The difference between each instalment is very small. Still overpriced for what is essentially a DLC for the original game. 3 was the best if you wanted to oppress the people, the decorations of tank traps and razor wire actually suppressed people, in 6 it's just for making your city look better.

More of a Dune vibe than any other Dune game!

Don't buy at full price!

The previous game is better than this junk!

Game use to be super immersive, then the devs got greedy, and rather than having two separate versions, one censored and one not, or even a toggle, they removed the realism that made this game unique, now it's just a generic swat game. The worst part is they said that players have no input in the matter or refunds for players who aren't happy.

Don't support these toxic devs that gas light the community and play the victim!

If you've already bought the game, please join the fight against censorship, only when they've been forced to mixed will they listen!

Also don't buy any of the dlc, they are barebone rubbish and not worth the money!

If you do want to buy the game, please only buy it from a key site so the devs get significantly less than what they want from a country with a strong currency!

Still an amazing game all these years on and better than Darktide by a massive margin. VT2 needs more love or a VT3!

Still a long way to go, but worth every penny! Especially love the track Cuncti simus concanentes!


My only gripe is the soundtrack is sold separately and the track Cuncti simus concanentes, written in the 14th century (public domain) without any variation to the original is behind a paywall.

Christian heritage isn't something that should be bartered!
