4 years of cultivating a community of PC players who enjoyed a realistic, gritty depiction of existing as a police officer in bad scenarios. Choosing to remove part of what made the game special, even just the little things such as blowing a dead suspect's head smoove off after you KC them, just for funnies, is disappointing. having re-downloaded the game today to experience the changes, the game also runs worse than before, with frame stuttering and textures rendering AFTER you enter the game world. I did really enjoy this game for the time i played before today, now I'm kinda just disappointed.

If you still want a very solid, slower paced "shooter" (does this game count as a shooter? I mean goals are to apprehend suspects, you don't even need to kill them, just happens to be way easier.) I still recommend this game, out of spite i will say to pick it up on sale, giving the VOID devs your money is your choice however, but it's theirs on whether or not something you enjoy in the game gets removed unexpectedly...

Disappointing turn of events for a game and studio I highly respected.

An incredibly good shooter, held back by a horrible company. Filled with cheaters and poor server maintenance, regularly crashing out servers of one game mode to give the bandwidth to another server. Company puts out bare-minimum updates every 7ish months, with maybe two guns, maybe a map, and guaranteed paid skins and cosmetics. If you really want to play this game wait for it to go on sale and buy all of the content in it for the price of the base game. I really enjoy this game's core mechanics, but the hedge fund who own the game suck at management. ♥♥♥♥ You, Embracer Group.

Valve has left Team Fortress 2 to rot to bots, making the casual mode impossible to play, while adding more microtransation cosmetics, while failing entirely to fix the bot issue. A multibillion dollar company running one of the most lucrative products in the world, has been unable to stop a group of basement dwelling discord moderators. Absolutely appalling, disappointing, and disrespectful to the community you claim to care for.

12/19/24 I changed my review yesterday, and have changed it back again. I have nothing but respect for the developers of this game, continually doing nothing but making up for the things they do wrong. I don't even know how you manage to get crossover content given out for free for your own wrongdoings. I bought the new stuff in store in support of the choices made by the devs, choosing to make up for your pricing mistakes is absolutely 10/10.

I was denied a refund for a game that requires an outside account failing to allow me access to the game i paid for. give me back my $2.99 or give me a functioning copy of the game Ubisoft.

Since the heavy release of NMRiH2, the original's servers have seen a rennisance, i do recommend playing it still, as i always have, but there are more options now for servers, so if you had high ping to all of the available servers before, but you might have a better one now!
