Good little games!

It feels more like a boss rush with MMO style fetch quests gluing them together. There is no feeling of increased power, you can't go get powerups and come back to a boss to make it easier, and because all of the bosses deal double damage, the one extra health you can get in act 1 doesn't actually matter. Hollow knight was all about getting new abilities that augmented combat in noticeable ways, the only functional combat upgrade I have acquired (and I've 100%ed act 1) was the dash, which was useful for a couple bosses.

The bosses all have too much health for how quickly they can kill you. There's no grace period for being hit, so even at 6 health points, you can die in one attack, including accidentally stepping on a boss' hit box while it is fully stunned. The runbacks to re-fight a boss are absolutely dreadful, I'm currently on the final boss of act 1, and I would be perfectly fine smashing my head against it, but the runback takes at least two minutes, and involves dodging through several enemies that require very precise movement to dodge.
I'm being told that act 2 is actually easier than act 1, and it's a shame I'll never see it.

Good cozy game in the 'Coffee Talk' realm. Only wish it was about twice as long.

Awesome game! Takes a bit to get invested, but the payoffs are worth it.

Waiting for the addition of some sort of chapter skip to 100% it, as great as the game is, re-reading 12 hours of dialog is a tall order.

Incredible game both solo or with friends! Runs tend to go no longer than 40 minutes, with initial runs to learn zones only taking 15 minutes or less. Each zone is shockingly unique with unique mechanics and themes, and tons of replayability, especially in the multiplayer mode!

Game is great, current scaling for more than two players is utter ♥♥♥♥ right now though, so only play solo or with a friend.
