Old Market Simulator will be turning two years old on May 22, 2026, and it’s only the beginning of its journey. Over the past few months, we’ve been working hard to eliminate bugs and issues, while also expanding the game to new platforms so more players can join and enjoy our game together.

We’re excited for you to experience our upcoming update and share it with an even larger community.

We’re happy to announce that Old Market Simulator will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 starting April 27, 2026.

Cross-play between consoles will be supported at launch. We will also be testing cross-play functionality between PC and consoles in beta, and if everything runs smoothly, it will be enabled for PC as well.

In addition, the mobile version of Old Market Simulator will launch on the App Store and Google Play soon after the console release.

Based on community feedback regarding performance issues, we’ve introduced a new setting called Boxed Storage in the Settings menu which is enabled by default. This significantly improves performance, especially in saves with large numbers of items. We’ve also optimized maps to provide a smoother overall experience.

We also received reports of players being unable to join hosts or getting stuck on loading screens due to network timeouts caused by large item synchronization. To address this, we’ve added a chunked synchronization feature, which improves connection stability and allows clients to join hosts more reliably.

To ensure players around the world can enjoy the game as intended, we’ve collaborated with professional translators to add support for: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian.

Following your feedback on in-game icons, we’ve worked with a professional artist to redesign our icons. The new hand-crafted visuals provide a cleaner and more polished look. Also, for a cleaner look, we changed the positions of the inventory slot and control hints.

We know many of you love collecting and stacking resources, but it can get messy! To help you stay organized, we’ve introduced the Resource Chest, available for purchase in the Engineer’s Store.
