Don't touch this crudely walking corpse disguised as a game, go check out GTFO or get hyped for Den of Wolves.

The subscription is ♥♥♥♥, and the Paradox Interactive DLC ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they're pushing isn't worth your time. If you really need to play this game, buy the base game on discount and try to "find" whatever else they've published to make up the difference.

Welcome to Femboy Fishing, a deranged colony of catboys, machanoids, and walking corpses.

To the left is the mining pits, where the mechs and zombies dig. Further than that is our seventeen Tidal Power generators, which gives us power.

In the back is the organ harvesting operation, and where we produce the nun outfits. Public Executions start at 5:00.

Aight, imagine XCOM and Warhammer 40K had a child, then Warhammer started beating it because it wasn't praying to the Omnissiah... that's Mechanicus for ya. I felt mildly scared and slightly happy, as I have been playing 40K since I could remember and the most recent installment (I'm looking at you 3!) didn't give me much hope. Luckily when I bought Mechanicus, I had a half bloody decent time! It was all normal, till I started praising the Omnissiah, purging every artifact, and quoting the Blood Ravens, and then I had beaten 5 missions... on level 1 awakening... but anyways, most reviews say that there is not a cover system but personally, the random pillars laying around are good enough for me. (I understand they mean like XCOM's system, but still.) What makes me love this game I have yet to TRULY find but I will play until then.

I have a feeling this review will spark some arguments, (At least the first half) but the Omnissiah likes a little drama. My current makeup is the following: A no-nonsense tech-priest that only has melee, (Traveler tech tree is OP) a lone gunslinger that generates cognition, and a tech-priest that turns a vanguard into a van-GOD for the duration of the battle. I must say, purging is SOOO much more fun than "Preserving artifacts" or "Lives over knowledge" blah blah blah, "You're jeopardizing the mission!" "Why are you interrogating the wounded?!" No one cares, so what if a tech-priest died? They're bloody immortal, a small fine and BOOM new tech-priest! I love the little pieces of lore you get from dialogue and by paying attention! Lore works like this; pick: couple of hours of A) Random wiki-pages or B) gun-toting XCOM-ish fun. Unlike Dishonored or TF2 I won't push my opinion as I want you to decide. The rest I'll leave up to the other reviews... Praise be the Omnissah and see you on the field!
