Now, after 81.8 hours played, in endgame, mapping with a 72 level character, I stand behind every word I said.
I saw comments dismissing my first impressions because I kept playing after not recommending it. Of course, I did! That doesn't mean I feel different about it, nor that playing it is awful and I'm forcing myself to. I still don't recommend the game, and I'm still the guy among my friends saying: "ok guys, now let's get back to PoE1, because things apparently won't change soon".
Exploring the Early Access in-depth and giving it chances to surprise me in aspects I haven't seen before (and giving GGG a chance to react to similar feedback and make adjustments) is keeping an open mind and reassessing my opinions instead of holding onto initial impressions.
I still don't recommend this game for Path of Exile 1 fans, and it would need to change drastically for me to do so.
Path of Diablo?
