This game has just about removed everything not fun about RPGs like healing between encounters and having to go back to get lives back and what not and removed them so every fight can be higher quality, higher stakes. Great game.

I like the combat and the monsters! Game runs acceptably on my laptop. I play with a playstation 4 controller with no issues. Gameplay has less friction and is perhaps easier than Rise or World but I would say a lot easier and less grindy on less interesting parts than MHGU. I love MHGU and probably have more hours on that than any other MH game. Controlling a hunter that really moves and is responsive feels very good when you combine it with much faster moving monsters with bigger move sets. I think we are moving in the right direction.

I'd like to see prowler return especially because of how good palicoes look and sound I think it would be a ton of fun. Also, I think the training dummy is cool and all but I think there should perhaps be better more advanced tutorials like street fighter has.

One of the best features of this game is the strategic lack of Tigrex. Tigrex is by far the worst monster of all time.

I like a lot of the changes. I feel like the paths they set for you with the legacies make for really interesting stories while you play the game. Thusly, I find it more immersive. What I don't like is the UI. IT's really hard to cycle through civilian and military units on the same tile. It's impossible to tell what tech leads to what on the tech tree. You cant click on city states to initiate diplomacy with them. Filtering resources for what they produce when assigned to a city or town is absent and annoying as things change with eras. I've had trouble accomplishing the science questline in exploration because the UI doesn't update to progress with the quest. And tool tips are so vague it's hard to know what you're getting into sometimes. Like I find it super unclear if you're supposed to want to replace buildings from previous eras or not and it doesn't tell you how much replacing a building or improvement will change net yields. I would not recommend anybody buy the game in it's current state, but I think that it will improve in short order. Maybe wait for the holidays and see where the game is at. It's undercooked right now but they are in fact cooking.

Fallout 4 is a beautiful setting with pretty sold gameplay. While it's not perfect compared to games like New Vegas the modern design and quality of life improvements do make the game much more accessible to newer fans and lazy players like me. I've really enjoyed the survival mode because the game is more immersive and enemies no longer being bullet sponges really improves the experience. I would have liked to see bethesda create a more comprehensive difficulty setting option like how no man sky can have each element customized. For example auto saves on survival because of bugs or unexpected crashes. I hope that in the future bethesda looks back at the past and what made fallout NV and the OG games so lovable but continues to make the game more accessible to fans. A smaller map with more attention to POIs and NPCs might be a good place to start.

Game is super fun. Lore is great. Still needs some work on bugs so there is less crashing but otherwise a total gem.

The game's tutorial doesn't do a good job to prepare you for survival in the jungle. I died in less than a day after starting the game for the first time. After about 20 hours I would say that the normal difficulty is far too easy. You need to look up information to get started though. Once you get the hang of things though it is quite fun and still can be hard to survive when you get poisoned or such from a sting or bite.
