Early Access Review
I like to start this review by giving LootCrate a shoutout... I would of never heard of this game if it wasn't for getting this gem in the form of a product code through LootCrate. If you never heard of LootCrate, Its a mounthly subscription box with that comes with all kinds of goodies.. Shirts, Toys (Pop Figures), mouse pads, and some random things randomly every month...

Now on to this game.. If any of you ever loved playing Smash Bros at all.. Any of them.. This game is for you... Its not as great graphicly, But the style more then makes up for it.. It is a beautiful game with great sounds and music.. Anyways, This game controls exactly like a Smash Bros game does.. Every button is a move, and every diretion with combination of the buttons is a move.. Sounds basic, but basic in this form is great.. Anyone can pick up this game and do every move each toon has to offer.. I don't like to have to download and memorize move sets for each toon of a game.. I want to pick it up and play.. Don't get me wrong, the Mortal Kombat style of game play is great, but this games being simple to learn is one of the many things that makes it great..

There is enough toons in the game to fit your style, and each one right now has 3 move sets.. During gameplay you will start off bare fist.. As I said, every button and every direction with combination of button is a move.. Then you have 2 types of weapons that drop.. One is normaly a light weapon like a 1 handed sword, other is a heavy.. Each weapon style also has it own set of unique moves.

For the devs of this game.. There is more we can improve on.. Just as some of the Smash Bros games had.. I would like to see Tile Sets to be able to make my own Brawling Zones (maps)... This would be simple to add and gives something for the community to build upon the game, and get together to share content..

Overall, I rate this game a 4 of 5.. And its a solid 4.. One thing holds it from being a 5 and thats the level making aspect.. I would love to see this added in game.. Not a tool you use outside the game that can be hard for players to learn... Point Click and Plop.. Level is done, using the tile sets of the game.. This being said, you can even add where you can buy tile sets, just like you have with the skins..

Thanks for the review Sim! Good feedback. A level editor is something we'd like to do for sure - it's a pretty big feature, for us, but you're right that it would be fantastic. Thanks again.
